Conversion Rules?

Hello hive, I am currently making a conversion for a hierodule (which there is a thread if you wish to follow my progress) and I was wondering what the rules are for playing converted models in actual 40k games. I can't seem to find anything to say it's legal or illegal. I am using 100% GW models and bits for the conversion, and size wise it won't be far off the actual hierodule as I'm using maleceptor body, tervigon legs and dual rupture cannons. Would I be allowed to use this models in games as a barbed hierodule or would I be told that I'm not allowed to?

Good so hear your converting....defo should be encouraged more and Nids are the perfect army for this.

99% of games you shouldn't have an issue. It'll GW stuff and as long as it's not massively smaller9 than the actual model then there shud be no issues.

Just the head so far I have a thread if you go into my threads I'm just waiting for the final parts to arrive which will allow me to finish the model
