After you all indicate your acceptance Kai'vyr continues once again "Let us begin The Ta'liserra ritual then." with this she quickly begins a prayer for the greater good before approaching each of you and cutting a small line across your chest. She then gives you all the knife and you repeat her actions, cutting across the original line until you all have 6 intersecting cuts across your chests. Upon completing this ritual she stows the knife back in it's sheath. "I thank you all for taking on this burden so lightly, I feel that our relationship will be a long and fruitful one. Now let us begin this mission."
Kai'vyr walks over to the Orca's main door and straps on a parachute, indicating that you do the same "We will be performing a High Altitude Low Orbit jump (HALO), remember to stay together and don't realease your parachutes for as long as possible to avoid detection. I'll see you all again in about 5 minutes." With a press of a button she opens the door and takes a running leap out of the open entrance. Following her lead you all do the same, everybody grabbing on to each others arms for increased stability. The air rushes past your armour, threatening to do some damage and at the last possible moment your parachutes spring open and you all drift off towards the ground.

Kai'vyr shakes her head, she had hit it pretty hard on impact but this was not the reason she had done so. She was still slightly puzzled by the ethereals decision to dump her with this bunch of incompetent rookies, they seemed eager enough but she felt sure that they would prove more trouble than they were worth. Her previous squad had been like a family to her until about a month ago when they had been surprised during the night by a Space Marine force. She was the only one who had survived the attack, and only then by sheer willpower. She had actually killed one of the fanatics with her katana - it's black blood still marred it's polished surface.
Shaking out of her abstraction she looked around for her charges, she quickly found 3 of them (Archon, christars and Eatalot) lying dazed nearby, in the middle of the clearing she had landed in. Another one (commandervolfost) appeared to have been caught in one fo the numerous trees on the side of the clearing, the forest that they comprised of stretching as far as the eye could see. Where the other 2 had gone she had no idea, they couldn't have gone to far away. With a sigh she muttered a quick oath before rising and going over to get the others up and moving, she would worry about the missing members later. They had the unfortunate one (commandervolfost) out of the tree in a couple of minutes and had managed to regain their footing but the other two had not appeared yet.
With another shake of her head Kai'vyr spat out some more words "We're going to have to search for the others, we will not be able to complete our mission with so few. Everyobody, standard search pattern - Irix, Tarlan, you cirlce to the north and East, M'yen'U'kos, stay here - Agis'vra, with me."
