Finally! Looks awesome. Fans of the franchises has been asking for this for 10+ years.

CA is about dlc, so they will milk dlc races. Humans Vamps, Dwarves and Orcs are core game races. Everything else will be preorder dlc and just dlc later on.But modders will probably help you out there since CA loves the modding community.

In this game I think new factions would be closer to expansions than DLC. Most of their regular games the DLC units are just reskins with new clothing and stats - Warhammer can do that to an extent, but the work is still considerably more; esp for unique monsters in armies and magics.

So I'd expect new factions to be either expansion or stand-alone releases. DLC might be new coats of arms - unit colours - some unit diversity (ergo a new "kind" of wyvern/dragon/etc.. within the army).

Point made, but CA does do a few exp, so it means several races in a exp. But still there will be DLC, probably heroes. Shogun 2 had a hero pack dlc. The modding will be far more interesting.

Looking good but my com and barely run Attila as it is. That brings me sadness.
The faction I look forward to playing most will be vampire counts xD.

End bits states it will be a Trilogy release. SO they will add 4 races each game and each game will add on like puzzle pieces to the map with factions and territory. So Tomb Kings and the farther areas will be the second game. New World will be the last of the Trilogy.

I'm looking forwards to this and as I own a 4000 point vampire counts army, having come to 40k from fantasy. I am totally playing them!

What's the release date?
