Tyrant/hive guard w/ magnets: I can't be the only one

So, Hive guards aren't nearly as good as they used to be, but tyrant guards are great MSU filler from my experience. That's not why I bought the model pack a while ago though: I find the tyrant guard shell piece gorgeous. But I had these magnets lying around, and the impaler cannon/shockcannon halves fit in all too well for magnets for my dastardly plan to work. But really though, AM I REALLY THE ONLY PERSON WHO DOES THIS??




And since I didn't see anyone doing this (or any half decent and original leviathan colour scheme), am I doing something horribly wrong here? Besides that stupid 6-leg lore rule that no one cares about?

Are you asking if you're the only one who attaches odd magnet ends to other odd magnet ends? Nope.

Or are you asking if you're the only one who magnetizes the model's head and gun ends to run it as either model (instead of the arms)? Quite possibly.

Just head-magnet spots instead of arms, like it's very non-traditional in all of the lore. I thought it looked cool? Sorry for being unclear but I feel like there's a lot more model customization on warriors and such.

Hey, if Exocrines can do it, why not Hive Guard? I like doing the "gun replacing head" thing with some of my Chaos Possessed and Obliterator conversions.

Nothing wrong with it for sure. I magnetised the gun in two parts. I also love the guard model, good kit.
