Sons of Sanguinius II

I am resurrecting this thread, originally started by Darkblade. Unfortunately not enough people joined, so it didn't go anywhere. I am hoping this will be different.

We will be a squad of Blood Angels assault veterans fighting on Agripinaa against the World Eaters and Heretics under the 13th Black Crusade. Personal weapon is ok but no more then and two special weapons and one sergeant (as special character might be ok., and don't bother putting a Jump Pack on your profile, cause we know you all have them).
Here is my character.

Name: Brother Sergeant Rafen(veteran)
Age: 500 (ish)
Rank: Veteran (as everyone should be) Sergeant (and is there a difference between tactical and assault marine in rank, because that's what we all are)
Appearance: Rafen is tall dark and handsome (w. black hair and green eyes), he has a very commanding presence.
Equipment: Blood Drinker (m/c power sword), Frag grenades, Melt bombs, Storm bolter, terminator honors, Iron Halo, purity seals. (and a jump pack, as I'm sure everyone does)

Background: Rafen was on Sabien when his brother Arkio(claiming he was the reborn primarch) led his legion against Mephiston. he was forced to end his brother's life when he found he was a tool of Chaos, and he managed to save all of his fellow Marines (along with Mephiston himself) from a gruesome end when the black rage overtook them all (go the Spear of Telosto). His hate for the forces of chaos is in-calculable (even to some fellow Space Marines). After killing his brother (and killing a greater daemon of Tzeentch) he was offered a promotion to captain of the 7th company, but he denied this great Honor, as he preferred to achieve such a rank of his own accord, and might i add: he has had great success. (read Deus Sanguinius)
He has also had training from the Grey Knight Terminators, so he uses his storm bolter with True Grit, during their fight against the word bearers on Tansis (in the blood angels system), Kascar met him there and swore an oath of loyalty. They brought him in becuase of his success against them on Sabien.

You can refer to the old RP for inspiration, but it wont get you far, scenario wise.

Age: 505
Rank: Veteran, Bodygaurd to Sergeant Rafen.
Appearance: Large muscular, good looking man with short, spiked, black hair and a scar down his eye.
Equipment: 2 Halo Guns (2 modifided assault cannons), Frag grenades, terminator honors, and a jump pack.
Background: Unknown

i didn`t think of it that way but i guess yeah but the cannons are gold and shot blessed bullets ( good against deamons ).

prett much. but just for a meta-gamming thing, do u want the cannons modified to be like burst cannons, or use the suspenders rule?
Burst Cannons have R18" S5 AP5 Assaul 3
Suspenders would be R12" S6 AP4 Assault 4.

I would imagine the suspenders would be better (effectively it halves the range to make it an assault weapon). And it would be Twin-linked either way

Name: Brother Veteran Klaus Rangoth
Age: 299
Rank: Veteran
Apperance: Tall (even for a marine), Stocky, a man with a rough, angular face, and long flowing dirty blonde hair (some say he has the face of Sanginius Himself)
Equipment: The Hammers Of Dawn (twin MC Thunder Hammers), Artificer armour, Terminator Honours, Holy Relic, Jump Pack.
Background: It was in his 14th year that Howling Wind, then a young warrior from one of the many tribes on Rendar VIII, was selected to join the ranks of the Blood Angels. The Sky-Angels were on a Bi-Centural recruitment visit, when a mighty Ork Waaagh descended. One of the Sky-Angels squads were seperated from the main attack force and was slowly being whittled down by the relentless horde of Boyz running at them. Seeing this, Howling wind gathered a group of warriors around him, and fought his way to the stranded marines (when i say group, i mean 2-300). eventually, at dawn the next day, with only around 15 survivors, he fell, bloodied but unbroken, at the Sky-Angels' feet. As one of the three remaining marines bent down to haul him up, he crawled to where the Nob had fallen and grasped it's hammers, dripping in marine blood. he then fell unconsious, and woke up in the fortress monastery with the name 'Klaus Rangoth', the name of the Sergeant of the very squad he had rescued, who had fallen to the Nobs hammers moments before Howling Wind and his companions had ridden it down, impaling it on thair lances. Not a word was spoken about his heroic deeds that day, until he was inducted into the veteran company, where he was presented with the very hammers he had taken on that day, but surrounded by a shimmering power field, that he has weilded to this day.

Name: Brother Incendios
Wargear:frag grenades, melta bombs, power spear, master crafted heavy flamer.
Build: 6 ft 11, muscular(der) dark brown hair, green eyes handsome apart from minor scarring to the left cheek, augmetic left eye and ear.

Fluff (so far):
Brother Incendios served in the 5th company as a tactical marine until attacked by eldar Saimm Hann forces. Surrounded by shining spears and guardian jetbikes in the steaming jungles of Martus XI, his squad proved their bravery, never attempting to flee. However his ammunition expended as the agile eldar darted around them, he was forced to watch as his sergeant was cut down by the foul xenos. As sergeant Ramius fell, he handed Incendios his spear and with it he held off the eldar until the reinforcements arrived. Because of his actions he was inducted as an assault marine and allowed to keep the spear.

Veteran Brother Travian

Appearance: average build, fiery orange hair, Hazel eyes.

Equipment: Meltagun, Inferno Pistol, Melta Bombs, Frag grenades, Melta Sword (count as Power Sword with Melta gun Strength, AP and Special rules), Terminator Honours, Tank hunter special rule (can you tell i'm going for the tank hunter theme? i think this squad needed one )

Background: was part of Rafen's squad (meltagun) during the Whole Arkio fiasco, was deluded by Arkio's false truth and helped fight Mephiston. his life was saved by Rafen and he later joined Rafen's squad in the hope that he could somehow return the favour. in the years following he became expert in the art of tankhunting and the use of the jetpack, he recieved a special Melta Sword from Chaplain Gravian of the Salamanders Chapter after he destroyed a Chaos Land raider single handedly.

The Thunder Hawk sped through the air over a battle ruined city on Agripinaa, they were in the back compartment, the front held a Terminator Assault squad and their land raider. The com in Rafens suit crackled into life, it was the pilot.
"Sir, we are approacing the destination."
"Understood" he replied.
They checked their fule and ammo supply, brothers Travian and rangoth had crates of extra fule and ammo. The ship slowed down, and the doors opened , rafen and his squad jumped out, the land raider dropes soon after.
"Secure the perimeter" he ordered.

Holoth was the first to leave Thunder Hawk followed by his captain Rafen and the rest of his squad members. As soon as they totched the ground Rafen started shouting orders "Secure the perimeter." As always he took point in front of the rest of his squad as they moved out to make a temporary base.
