In a rutt with the reaper of obliterax.

I have literally made no progress on modeling my prime in the last 4 days but have destroyed a ton of bits in the process.I have even tried doing google searches but came up empty. Trying to find a reaper of obliterax conversion that i like and have not been able to come up with anything. So i look to my fellow hive minds in asking for help. If you guys/gals could please post pictures or ones you did or even ones you found on the wide web. for inspiration it would be greatly appreciated and a huge help. Thanks

This was designed for a hive tyrant, but you can always make a smaller version. Made a big fleshy flail and put spikes on the sword.

I just painted energy effects on my sword to make it stand out. Conversions on a sword sound too delicate to me.

Assuming you have at least a few lying around, grab a Swarmlord sword, and if you don't like the look of that larger arm on there then cut the blade off and replace the blade on the warrior bones word with it.

Take some of the new Venomthrope tentacles, and model up a Flail like a Toxicrene model with spikes on the tips... would look cool!

Like a "Cat of nine tails" but a little more aggressive

I was thinking of using the Paulson games bio swords for the reaper. Have a ton spare that I never got around modeling onto my warriors before the new kits came out and they are suitably different enough to be unique relics

My old swarmlord used double scything talons like glaives would be easy to replicate prime sized with the spinefist arms that no one uses and a couple of extra scything talons

When I think of the RoO I always imagine a flyrant wielding the "grim reapers" scythe. It's something I'm planning on creating. Just getting my head around the "how?" XD

Very similar to how I imagine it. I always imagined it as looking like the gravelord sword from Dark Souls

I think it would be a bit big and odd to implement into a nid though.

It would just be an extension of a scything talon, only needs to be an arms length or so longer. Could look quite nice.

So, what your saying is that it will have 1 giant scything talon. Wouldn't that look a bit ridiculous.

I think the boneswords from hydracast(Serj) are the best I've seen.

Everything else looks too "blade-ish". These are bio-weapons afterall.
