This army puts a grand total of 130 models on the field. The main thrust of the army comes in the form of the Conscripts squad. 50 bodies will be accompanied by the Inquisitor who will supply them with her magic grenades, Commissar Yarrick who will bark out Orders and provide a hidden fist, a Priest who will boost the squad with War Hymns, and whichever one of the three Primaris Psykers is lucky enough to roll a 2 on the Divination table (the power that grants a 4+ invulnerable save.) The result should be a massive blob that can soak up huge amounts of firepower with also churning out a nice bit of damage each turn with the help of some built in force multipliers. The unit clocks in at 425 to 500pts but I reckon it'll be such a distraction it will more than earn its price tag.
The Conscript Squad of Blobby Doom will be supported by the Eradicator and the Executioner who will advance to ensure they can hit the choicest targets. In turn, the blob will shield the tanks from would be assault units. The Executioner will also be granted Prescience each turn either by a Primaris Psyker or the Inquisitor to mitigate Gets Hot! results and ensure that small little blast marker covers as many models in a squad as possible.
The backfield will supply supporting fire from behind the Aegis Defence Line. Two sizable Infantry blobs will provide anti-tank and, later, anti-infantry support with the help of some orders from the Company Command Squad. The Russ Battle Tank will also lay down some long range firepower from here and the last of the Primaris Psykers will make sure the backfield gets the Divination support it requires.
Finally, the Vendetta will provide mid-game anti-tank and obligatory anti-air and will ferry the Meltagun Command Squad to wherever it needs to go in case there's just one tough target that needs removing.
The list is intended to capitalise as much as possible on the new improved orders system and the plentiful Divination support.
Sound solid?
