Dark Angel and Inquisitors 1850 List

The below list is for a friendly game with some buds. One uses Ultramarines, the other uses Tau. They are going to split their force org and 1850 pts and try to shoot the bejesus out of me I assume. Strategy is highly mobile, lots of shooty, lots of annoying flyers, lots of annoying meltas and things like that. Darkshroud will stick with Samm and some bikes, ill combat squad the bikes and Attack bikes, and use them to infil or outflank and be in their face asap while my Valks fly around and drop off Acos on objectives or targets of opportunity. Do biker tele homers work with grav chute insertion? I never could figure that out.

Thanks to Coteaz all my Acos are going to be troops, and i considered swapping out the 6th aco with the plasma gun for a jokero weapon smith but havent plugged it in to see what the points look like yet.

Teleport Homers basically only work for Terminators. Locator Beacons will work for any form of Deep Strike, tho.

I'd try to trim somewhere and get a second Special in each of those Bike Squads. Changing at least one to Plasma would probably be good, too.

ive been fiddling with the list, and if i drop one bike squad i can substitute in a ravenwing command squad of 4 and bring a standard of devistation (gives bolters salvo 2/4). the command bikers bring 3 plasma talons and 1 grenade launcher

edit: and it makes too much sense that the bikers inherent tele homers would work perfectly with grav chutes

Bolter Banner is pretty nice for Ravenwing. And I do love those Grenade Launchers. Might want to drop INQ stuff for it tho, instead of RavenWing Units that can benefit from it.

i was thinking again of changing the storm bolters to boltguns for the acos. then they would be able to benefit from the standard (Battle Bros) and i would have a few more points to throw around. I am also half tempted to use a generic inquisitor as my main detachment and give him prescience. a bunch of acos or bikers with salvo 4 rerolling misses would be nice. That would open up all the henchmen as troops, and the DA FOC layout fits an allied list.

Unfortunately, the Bolter Banner specifies Units from Codex: DA. Doesn't even pass along to Bros.

Ahh you are correct, i always seem to forget or not fully read things like that. Ill have to refigure or change the list completely, I went digging through my christmas stocking and noticed a belial...lol
