Update: Been a while! Took me a loooong time but the army's finally done! Here it is:
Nurgle's Walking Wounded
Lord Genobius the Waking Nightmare
Nur'Aka the CorpseEater
The Halls of the Reluctant Dead
Fleshcoffin and Meatwagon
Fluff -
"Once a dedicated apothecary of a now destroyed Chapter, Genobius was thrown into a plague-pocked world wracked by Typhus's zombie plague. Overwhelmed by the numberless swarms of shambling imperium dead, his entire chapter succumbed to the ravages of the plaged undead. Genobius felt betrayed as his ironclad faith in the Emperor crumbled before his eyes and his prayers went unanswered, but his story was not done - for during his duty upon the nameless, doomed planet, Genobius drew the gaze of papa Nurgle for he had come closest to unravelling the mystery of the plague virus and his method of combating it by using modified viruses intrigued the plaguefather.
Whispering into his infected soul, Papa Nurgle brought Genobius back as a loyal servant - a new herald of another equally deadly zombie plague. One that kept its victims sapient, but under a constant illusion. Known as the Nurgle's Walking Wounded, this new plague fleet would ply the battlefields, bringing Nurgle's blessings to those mortally wounded warriors left behind on the battlefields. They walk and fight again - for a cause they believe is their own, but are nothing more than lies wrought upon their rotting, blackened brains.
Some embrace the plague - and those are fortunate to keep their own senses albeit dulled and inured to pain. Others are victims lost in their own dark dreams...
Lord Genobius wears a cape made of the flayed skins of his defeated foes. Of particular interest is the face of a priest who foolishly challenged him to personal combat. It now resides permanently upon his cloak, forever screaming in terror and pain."
Daemon Prince - Nur'Aka the CorpseEater
Lord Genobius, the Waking Nightmare
Terminators - the Phageguard, led by Fistulus the Unblemished.
"Fistulus the Unblemished gets his name from his unusually intact face - although that is mostly a lie. Alluded to have once been a Blood Angel, Fistulus regularly clones fresh faces to wear over his diseased, rotted visage, a holdover from his vanity in his former chapter. In battle he wears a golden helm he takes great pains to keep clean, and relishes the day he finally strikes down Genobius in an unguarded moment to become his own 'chapter master'."
Zombies - the Walking Wounded
Plague Marine squad 1 (plasma): Telomerius
Squad 2 (plasma): Mitos
Squad 3 (melta): Endocrax
Havoc Squad: Cacophony of Silence
"Havocs come to the Walking Wounded after hearing tales that Lord Genobius holds the secret to becoming an Obliterator. Typically seeking the destructive Godlike destructive powers such Obliterators wield, these Havocs often join the Walking Wounded in the hopes of a shortcut to that power. The Cacophony often resort to augmentics, surgeries, rituals and even downright daemonic possession to hasten the process along, but few understand the true risks involved in such endeavours."
Obliterators: The Brothers - Rage, Roar and Wrath.
Rhino (toothy) - The Meatwagon
Rhino (fleshy) - The Fleshcoffin
Land Raider - The Halls of the Reluctant Dead

Paint notes: The Marines got a quickshade dip, then post-dip brushing and processing to create patches of matte and shine. To maintain a sense of unity of design, I decided to make the backpacks the same; it's worked out quite well for both colour schemes used.
Intestines and exposed flesh are painted with multiple thin layers: Rust brown primer, Kislev Flesh base, drybrush Blood Red, 'glaze' with super watered down Skull White, Drakenhof Nightshade, Agrax Earthshade.
Plague Marine troops
Loren Forest, White, Kislev Flesh, Ironbreaker/Auric Armor Gold, Quickshade (Strong), Averland Sunset and Scorched Earth (Rhinox Hide)
The fleshy head for the FW plague marine champion was done similar to the zombies but without the Loren Forest glaze and a much more opaque layer of Kislev flesh.
Plague Zombies
Multiple thin layers of paints overlap to create the mottled, patchy colour. Based rust-brown, base layer of Loren Forest, thin/drybrushed Kislev flesh, 'glazed' in white (Skull white with water), 'glazed' in Loren Forest, thinned Drakenhof Nightshade, Agrax Earthshade.
Havoc colourtest
The Havocs are an auxiliary army - they're not actual plague marines but from another warband who are potentially Plague Marine wannabes.
Blazing Orange (Trollslayer Orange now?), Ironbreaker details/trim, Moot Green eyes, dipped in Quckshade (Strong)
Obliterator (1/3)
