Dimitri fallowers the boy. Alex he beloved his name was, and this kid was helping to kill his father.what would happen after this. To the boy, Dimitri thought about it as he played with the grenade in his hands the pin nice and firm back in its place. Polis was nice, the council was there and was highly defended and work came easy, hell the kid could make a living bringing bulbs guns and other (please do not swear) around to the exits for the stalkers, he could run a shop, he could become a ranger if Dimitri put in a good word. Then there's the women. An asset he would have to take care of, kill her? No he couldn't what would Diana say. Ask her to join the ranger? Screw that, send her on her way with one of your bountys? That could work. He thought why not do that. But this bounty was to big for her. And Dimitri would love this amount. 1k MGRs for a corrupted council member. He could afford a safe trip to theater for his love and him.
He though this threw one silenced sniper round threw the brain. And this kid would then be the next council member. It was one of those things they never tell you in politics they just swoop you up when it's your time. So this kid is going to be veary, pissed off

Alex raced off leaping throughout the dystopian infrastructure of Riga. Periodically he would pause his acrobatic sprints and perch on a ledge, waiting for the man to catch up. He looked perfectly at hope in the steel and concrete jungle where walls were trees and trash their foliage. He came to an arbupt stop after a few meters of more ordered housing. They looked down to a gap where are more structures, less hap-hazard building was visible. "O-okay s-sir," he said nervously as the trepidation was no the brink of bursting from his chest, "I will bring him to that window there, the one with the green lining on the first floor." Anything reselbing a fare well wasn't present as the boy leapt from the ledge at a height that would put any at risk of crippling most, but he landed with commando-roll and emerged safely. Dimitri was left in this vantage point that was pretty well hidden from the security but close enough to hear a conversation if a window was left open, which there was.
Alex approached the front of his home. He was unnerved by how formally silent the guards were today, but he shrugged it off as paranoia - how could anyone know? It wasn't like his father benefited anybody anymore; the visionary inside him was a decaying corpse, naught but a putrid smell remained of it. He went into the dinning room and opened the window. It was large, it's height looming upon old hinges.
Alex stopped as if he saw a reflection of the devil himself in this opening windows. "Papa?" "You useless little Lady Parts. My (please do not swear) brother tought you nothing but being a Lady Parts intellectual didn't he? I have a short list of things to do and you take a century to do this." He turned around to face his fear. "I-I'm sorry sir" "You're not, but you will be. Come here!" Alex obediently attended with his head low in full submission, hesitating only when he glimpsed the brass knuckles, which earned them being in his gut in full force, bringing him to his knees in no time. His father lifted him by his hair to bring his face to his, "You're worthless! You're no man, you'll never amount to anything! What a (please do not swear) disappointment-" "-Are we interrupting?" a voice intervened. As Alex dropped to the ground he shot a glance to check all this scene would be caught by Dimitri who was watching before being hoised by his shoulders and his fathers arm being around them.
The inquiring voice came from a pair of councilmen and a councilwoman flanked by the two guards. Boris tried his best to make sure all was well, despite the son he was being oh so friendly with had tears welling in one eye, the other was still blackened. "I was just speaking to my son is all. What do I owe this visit?" "We caught wind of plans against your life," Alex left his heart leap to his throat, "apparently there are powers at play that see you as a detriment to Riga's council." "I have given my life for this station! Do any of the other 26 members know? Who is moving against me?" "We are." Said the lead man. The guards didn't batter an eye as the old lead of the trio drew and raised his revolver. Alex was thrown aside as his father went to run for it, but instead the father's brood and brains showered his son. As his father laid limp on the ground, the man stood over him and wasted his bullets on making sure Boris was laid to rest. He called the guards over as Ale had yet to get over the initial shock. "His brother is on the other side of the line, he won't give us any trouble. We will have to make sure that he is the last Timiryazevskaya for that reason." The guards then pointed their gund on Alex who was still on the ground. He pathetically scrambled backwards until he felt the wall on his back. "I'm not the youngest Timiryazevskaya! If you let me live I'll tell you where she is" "Kid, you're the worse liar." Replied the old man as he waved his hand across his throat, implying an execution order.
Before Dimitri had time to react, one of the guards was his in the shoulder, a different window exploding. The next guard dropped to the ground, holding his leg. The council members took cover as a ricochet centimetre's from them. She was no sniper, but Nikki did pretty well with the lugger at that sort of range and that level of maintenance, probably better than some of the sharpest shooters. She had evidently thought to check everything went smoothly. From her roof top she gave a subtle to fingered wave to Dimitri's position. Alex took this opportunity to do what he did best, run away. Nikki reloaded as she hoped that Dimitri would take this oportunity.

Aninka had managed to grab a nearby kid and get directions towards Boris's house. She pulled the jacket she'd taken from Yuri closer to herself briefly enjoying the smell of vodka and musk. She moved quickly jumping and grabbing the edge of a pipe to scramble upwards. She then proceeded roof top jumping to reach her destination. She swung down landing on the windowsill where she perched with incredible skill. She looked in to see the boy from the bar scrambling away from a group of governors. All she could do was grin.
She waited for the opportune moment, which in this case was a moment after Nikki fired. She took that moment to wrap Yuri's jacket around her fist slightly and crack the glass open. She rolled in drawing her two weapons and grinned pulling the triggers. The other politicians had turned from the ruckus of the bullets to Aninka the moment she came in and started firing. She weaved and danced about making it impossible to draw a beat on her even at the close range. She realized suddenly she was in front of their target and she grinned at him wondering if he'd recognize her.
One of the men rushed forward at her waving a knife wildly, "You like knives?" She tossed her guns into the air drawing an array of shining knives from her hips. The man went stumbling past her right over her foot to slam face first into the wall next to Alex. He would have expected the man to get up, but then he saw the blood spray against the wall and leak down from the man's throat. Around other members were falling over some still screaming with knives lodged in their faces. She reached up catching the guns with excellent timing.
Nikki from her vantage pointed saw a shower of glass and could hear gun shots. Then a moment later a man went flying out the window gripping his face and screaming. Aninka didn't let up on the few men still standing. She moved around putting shots in their heads. "Stop what you're doing or I'll shoot."
Aninka's eyes turned to see one of the politicians she'd thought to wounded holding up a gun. Her eyes took on the most dangerous look possible, "We can make a deal," she said in a cold tone.
"What kind of deal? I have you. Now go catch that brat and I won't report you." She grinned the fire in her eyes only burning brighter, "I don't think you understand. You'll miss. And then I'll kill you." His hand was shaking and she didn't give him the opportunity to make her wrong. She turned whipping a blade from the side of her jacket. The shot rang out and she grinned as blood trickled down her arm, "Nice try." A moment later she was on him holding him by his shirt arms pinned. "Now. Look in my eyes. Do you see fear? Do you see me? I'm your angel of death. And there isn't any more time to repent." He started to scream as she dragged a blade down the side of his face.
"Do you hear me? There isn't any time left." She pushed her blade into his throat relishing his dying convulsions. She moved from her perch on his chest. Then she watched a shot go past her shoulder. "(please do not swear)." She reached up to hold her wounded arm hoping to god there weren't anymore people she'd have to deal with.

Dimitri brought his rifle to his shoulder and took aim. "You are sentinced to death for the innocent killings." He fired the silent shots ringing out as he hit the women who jumped in and he killed the remainder or at least made sure they were did he shot the women just above the knee and then holstered his rifle takeing a running jump into the building, By god what a (please do not swear) station, he thought as he cliced a finger off each of the dead to add to his reward. The bounty didnt really say who was corrupt and needed ending but this is how it always is. When he was done he looked to where Nikki was and spoke. "That kid. He's going to be a council member, if he's lucky. And you here's your pay" he says leaving a case of 400 MGRs on the floor. He beloved this was the right thing, Diana probably wouldn't want him to do this but he had no choice. But reds and the reich, he would rather kill them any day. He then turned seeing the female get up and placed the Ashot to her head and spoke. "Five seconds , before i blow your brains out. Now tell me why you are here and if I deem it right I will let you live., 4 seconds" he says pulling the hammer back

Aninka grinned up at Dimitri her hand still clamped hard on the wound she was now aware had probably been inflicted by Dimitri. "You're giving me four seconds to justify my existence here. And you just barged in here and shot up as many men as I killed." She let out a throaty chuckle. "Alright, here's my justification, because at least I know I'm a hypocrite." She watched disbelief dawn on his face, "Oh right. That isn't likely good enough. How about because I'm so beautiful that to decorate the walls with my blood would be such a shame." She grinned finally giving a full view of her face.
Her full upper lip seemed well matched the the slightly thin lower lip, and those lips were set in a devilish grin. He couldn't find any fear in those lips. Her sharp cheek bones led up to her eyes. And even in the eyes as blue as the dress his intended had been wearing he could find no fear of the gun against her head. In fact, it almost seemed as if the blue eyes were only allowing the gun there to give her time to study him. She grinned still not particularly moving in any great way. He could see the blood coming from her arm and he could see slightly from the shaking of her hands she was in pain.
"You don't seem swayed by my beauty. So I'm guessing force is the only thing you understand." She shrugged , "So how about..." she seemed to be searching the walls for an answer. Suddenly she hunched herself and yelled "(please do not swear)!" When he jerked to look at the window she was up in a flash her own gun drawn. When he whirled back to look at her she smiled, "Because I'm here for good reasons. And I don't care to discuss it with you while my blood decorates the carpet of a filthy swine. My blood, dirty as it is, is too good for this." He could see the drops of blood leaking across her white tunic. Still, she held the gun up pointed at him with confidence, "And honestly, your blood is also too good for this carpet. So why don't we both agree to leave this place and go tie off my arm and drink."

Nikki looked up at him, a sorta sad smile strewed across her face, "That was a move against his family, he'll be hunted down until there are no Timiryazevskayas left on this side of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line, I don't doubt there are others who woould rather not see a Timiryazevskaya on the council's board. Any chance you can use you ranger status to deal with the Police when they invariably come?" she said, then moving her head down to look for the kid. She found some vertical railing which she used to slide down to ground level.
She looked around to see where he might have run off to. She saw a small crack-like crevice 'tween two buildings which she thought she saw movement She tried her best to climb up into it, lacking Alex's acrobatic grace. She saw a pale hand reach through to help her up. As she was pulled in, she foudn they were in come precarious place loosely lodged in between two buildings. He still looked clearly shocked, covered in his father's gore. "They're going hunt me. Are they going to hunt all the Timiryazevskayas?" "Where are the other's?" "My uncle is a teacher in Kaluzhsko, he's looking after a baby girl. She's the youngest in our remaining family." "Come on, show me where to get to the roof and we'll talk it out."
Once Alex heaved Nikki's stout frame onto the roof not too far from where Dimitri was, alex decided to explain, "If you want the faamily fortune, it isn't here" "What!?" Nikki said, trying not to sound as if he was rousing on him but clearly disappointed and enraanged. "He hid it in case something like this happened" "And do you know?" He nodded in response. Nikki didn't need to know immediately butthe fact that he did was all that was important. The less the location was said, the better. We needed to get this kid to the Polis she thought to herself, thinking to keep him safe.
"That mop top of yours has to go, people know you by it around these parts" she said. She got a piece of rag out of her baggage for him to wipe the gore of his face. She looked through her stuff for a new and clean shirt for him to wear which didn't smell like blood and look like a butcher's apron. When he took his top off his skin was pretty pale and other than the newly acquired bruise, was pretty flawless. His left collar bone was misaligned a tad, his right shoulder blade a little malformed, s few ribs showed subtle lumbs where they had been broken and healed - the years of abuse etched all over his bones, this boy was raised by the devil himself. "Now hold still" Nikki said as she used a combat knife to cut whole tuffs of hair off him. The brown locks fell from the roof top. She stepped back to inspect her work. Wow, he looked alittle younger with shorter hair, cowlicks sticking in random directions now they didn't have the weight and length to comply with gravity. "You look handsome with your hair like this. Where do we go from here, family or treasure first?" "Well Botanicheskiy Sad is on the way to Kaluzhsko so I guess we'll get the fortune."
Nikki froze. Did he just say that the family fortune was hidden in Botanicheskiy Sad? Well, now she was hoping that the Dark One's weren't in a grumpy mood when they got there. She glanced over at Dimitri who was preoccupied by that woman who intervened, seeing any indication that he heard any of this

It didn't take Mantis too long to reach the edge of the station with the children that he had ended up carrying. They where in much worse condition then he had originally though, but other then bringing a softer, slower pace hum from his throat it did nothing to break his usual mannerisms. Trotting down a side street he stopped facing a thick metal door which he proceeded to headbutt since his arms where preoccupied. For a few seconds he tapped out a beat on the dirt below him, taking a moment to gently push rub at a patch of dirt on the youngest of the two's faces. A scene that probably looked very shifty to anyone watching...
But before anyone could walk in on them the door opened a crack and a eye appeared, looking in every direction until settling on the trench coated man. "What?" A croaky voice asked harshly, giving no hint that he knew the person before him. "I have brought two young bloods to be taken in." Mantis sung in his normal tone. "Taken by who?" "The Watcher of the Depths of coarse."
The eye nodded and the door open to reveal a withered little man wearing little more then tattered robes that did nothing to hide his skinny figure. "Well what are you waiting for?" Mantis gave the rude statement a Gentleman Parts of the head before stepping into the house and moving over to a cot to lay the children down like he had done many times before, sitting back on his haunches to study the sleeping siblings.
"Be good." He said simply, his tone lacking its usual happiness before standing up and walking back over to the door where the little man still hovered holding a small package. "I'm assuming you want this?" Mantis didn't say anything, simply nodding as he took the bundle of rags and stuffed it into his coat, stepping out of the door for it to shut behind him and the click of heavy locks to slide into place. Letting out a small sigh he looked up at the stations rotting roof, considering for a brief moment if those children would be thanking him in a months time...
Though he didn't have long to reflect as a sudden shout of vulgar language echoed his way, causing him to look in its direction. "That sounded like Ani..." He muttered to himself as a flash of motion catch his eye. "I should probably help with that..." Setting off at a jog towards the commotion, drawing his axe from its sheath as he went.

Dimitri wasn't stupid, she was highly trained. Red line? No she was about equal to 5 of there vets but she was equal to maybe 3 rangers. Well normal ranger, the spartan rangers maybe one. So that left the reich? Ya he could see it now fitting into place, the way she talked like she was strict, and the small outline of the scar. Same scar all reich get. The C was just barley visible, Diana has one so he knew for a fact now. He placed the Ashot to her head and spoke the barrel pressing hard against her skin. " you leave, and go back to where ever you came from. If I see you again in any way. Ill kill you understand?" He says. He couldn't kill a women and he for sure wont start here. "Or. You leave the reich and join me. Maybe a few years from now we could make you a ranger" he says putting the hammer back and bolstering the wepone. "Your choice but this bounty is mine" he says jumping from the window and started to make his way to the tunnels.
Now the dark ones they were never around anymore. But people still Belive them to be here or there in sacred places. But since the dark ones saved the metro they went west not looking back, but one still remained, talking to the hero of the tunnels explaining things trying to.. Guid life. Like the man khan said to the hero, maybe they were only trying to help us. That is why hunter is alive today. Dimitri walked with khan before being as cryptic as him at times... The dark one that remained was surrounded by darknes lights blew out, things ran away, flashlights stopped working only a lighter shines light here.

Aninka never faultered while he held his gun. She just smiled at him and waived a small, flirty waive. It was edging on disturbing how little she cared for his threats. With him gone she reached down tearing one of the tunics of the men and tied it about her wound. She replaced Yuri's jacket around her shoulders and turned lopping off several of the fingers. Then she righted herself with disarming cool and turned, “Well. I hate to leave you two in such a nasty circumstance, but my bounty is walking away.” She moved towards the window prepared to jump out and leave them, but something stopped her. She slowly turned, “Alex.” Her voice returned to the low accent with ease, “Some people is meant for killin' others is meant for talkin' round God about those of us that raise a blade. And what I'm sayin' is that if you need help. My blade is your's. And I think, you'll know where to find me if ya need help.” Then with that she was out the window as soft as a shadow. But she wasn't half as soft as she reached the roof and took of cutting corners on her way to the station.
She landed in a crouch pulling her hood up as she reached the station. She walked inside holding the fingers out and dropping them on the counter, “Ey. Don't suppose one of you boys has a pen and a scrap of paper for a lass.” The men smiled gathering closer to her, “And how did a pretty little thing like urself deal with these men.” Aninka smiled her most charming smile, “Well. You know men, when they got their eye on something soft with curves, they don't tend to be looking for the sharp angles she might have.” Aninka tapped her knife and the men nodded in agreement as the man at the counter held out the sack to her along with a pen and scrap of paper.
Aninka wrote on the paper while applying a fresh coat of lipstick to it. She counted out half the money minus what her arm was going to cost and dropped the rest back in the sack, “Now, what does it cost a girl like me for you to promise to give this to the nice ranger that is probably about 4 minutes behind me?” The man grinned tapping the counter, “Well. Seeing as your one of the trade, a ranger no less...I suppose a kiss on the cheek will be enough.” She leaned forward planting the desired kiss on the man's cheek. “You are allowed to read what I have written.” Then, she strolled out of the place grinning to herself. She pulled her red ribbon from her pocket and tied it into her mess of curls.
When Dimitri walked in the men were already in good humor. When they saw him they all stepped back stifiling smiles. The man took his fingers and shook his head, “Sorry. This was turned in not 10 minutes ago.” He grinned sliding forward a sack along with the note, “But a very pretty little thing asked me to be sure you got this and to tell you in case you missed it in her note that next time she'll be on top if it's all the same to you. And now, you can tell her I done what I promised.”
Opening the sack revealed what must have estimated to half the sum of the bounties. The note read in curly scrawl
Hello Ranger. I think we got off on the wrong foot, you pointed a gun at me, and now I've taken half of your money. Which is only fair considering I did half the work and probably you wouldn't be so shiny if I hadn't gone in first. As to your suggestion of my potential life courses, I suggest another option. I do what the (please do not swear) I want when I want around you and not around you. And you don't have to worrry your rugged, little head about me, because next time you see me, I'll be on top. Until then, I hope that this money and kiss can hold you over.
There was no signature, not unless you counted the rosy-red outline of her lips on the paper.
About the time Dimitri read this Aninka was sitting on Yuri's lap laughing as he ran his hands through her “newly” blond hair and mostly rubbed her shoulders. Aninka had cleaned her face of the dust and blood and even bothered to keep her wounded arm covered. She had her ranger's gear on again while Yuri seemed pleased to have her in his embrace.

Mantis arrived at the scene of the fighting just in time to side step a running Dimitri and witness the chaos of the aftermath of the groups little stunt. Deciding he rather not start a shootout with the town militia he cautiously slid the axe away before it drew too much attention though he didn't remove his hand from it. "Ani?" He tried to call but his inability to change his voices volume meant that the sound was nearly immediately lost in the crowd.
Giving an annoyed tsk the pale boy shouldered his way through the crowd to the door, a not very impressive feat as most tried to stay clear of his featureless face and mirrored eyes. Once he was there he regarded the shattered windows quickly putting two and two together to say there was a shooter on the opposite roof, though he didn't heed it too much attention as Ani seemed to like her sharp things and that was way too far away for her.
Slowly turning in a circle to try and find that girl who was meant to be giving him a job Mantis gave a shrug. It was obvious she wasn't still here and if she was she was ignoring him. So with a hand still on his axe he set off for the bar he was meant to meet Yuri at, his eyes always darting around under his reflective lenses as he picked up a steady humming.

Nikki's posture got defensive when the Nazi spoke to Alex. Why would somebody from the Reich want him? How did she even know his name? She turned back to the boy and patted down his shoulders to reassure him and make sure he was alright. She hid the fact that she was nervous well, she did not want to go to Botanicheskiy Sad. That place was synonymous with hell itself; a place of raiders, disease and mutants. The worst of which were the Dark Ones. Some say that each one could see all possible futures and twisted the threads of fate, others say that they feed on your very should until you're nothing but a comatose husk. To have one speak to you was said to rent your mind apart and leave you in a madman - they were madness personified. Why the extremely cautious Alex would talk about going their without batting an eye was reason enough for suspicion.
"So, mate, are you sure that the treasure is at Botanicheskiy Sad?" "Yes, Positive" "No doubts" "Nik, I go there and check on it, that was one of my jobs!" Okay, he goes there and he's come back and he still seems to have a soul. "Well we're going to catch the next train there, alright?" "What? Can't we go the way I go all the time? I mean people get murdered on those trains and people are looking for me and- and-" Wow, now he's scared. I guess he's right though. After all, the ruthless rule this metro but it's the cowards who live. She shot her attention up to the other two realizing that they were speaking loud enough for them to hear, making sure that the conversation was still theirs.

Dimitris facial expression was of a burning rage, his bounty taken except for the half she had left him. He crumpled the note and pulled his lighter out setting it ablaze. He then looked tworeds the two in the booth and eyes the radio, ham radio. He looked tworeds it and spoke. "Hand me the radio. Now." He says pulling his Ashot out and aiming it at the closes mans face. As the other one brought the radio over Dimitri turned it to a secret frequency and spoke into it. "Four eyes, we have a problem." The voice on the other end spoke in a mono tone voice. And Dimitri replied. "Lock down pollis from where your at no one in or out, unless they are a spartan." The voice asks why and Dimitri responded, "I think we may have another spy in the rangers." Four eyes sighs and says affirmative, and Dimitri changes the signals on the radio to the Riga station gates. Ordering them under orders of the council of polis to not let anyone in or out a nosalis heard was seen moving threw frequently used tunnels. The acnolidged and Dimitri had his plan. Handing the radio back he went to find Nikki.
When he found her he grabbed her and Alex by the arms. "We need to get him to polis right away." Dimitri says as Nikki argues saying something of a family treasure Dimitri didnt have time for that something big was going on. He shook his head. "Fine we shall go get this damn family treasure. Just stay close to me" he says as they near a gate heading in the needed direction. The man says the fats are closed and Dimitri responds. "We are from polis part of a bigger team, we are here to Handel the problem, " he says and the man replys " just you three?" Dimitri nods and specks. "Just us three we're in here resuplying now come on open up." Dimitri says as the gate keeper opens the gate allowing Nikki Dimitri and Alex,to move threw. Once they were threw the gate started to shut.
"From this point on, you listen to me." He says and starts to walk pulling his aks-74u out and whistled a tune down the tunnels

It hadn't taken long for Yuri and Aninka to " get tipsy off her newly claimed money. When Mantis came in they were no longer in the same chair, instead they were hunched over the counter laughing over something. Aninka's head turned as her eyes fell on Mantis, "Mantiii. Glad you finally made it. I just took the bounty of my life." She giggled at him, "And I have a new job for you. I need someone to lead me to Botanicheskiy by the most direct, fast route possible. And if you promise to take me there by your secret stalker routes, I will protect the hell out of you and pay you so much money you can feel as good as I do right now." She turned slamming her fist on the counter, "Bring the kid some drink and food.
Yuri turned looking at her, "Botanicheskiy? You must be kidding me." She turned grinning, "Nope. I've got a job there. And I'm planning to collect it." Yuri shook his head sobering up enough to look frightened. "You're crazy, no job is worth that." She smiled at him grabbing the front of his shirt. "I'm not ruining the mood, we'll talk about this later." Yuri eyed her strangely until she pulled him from the barstool to follow her, "Mantiii we're going to get a start moving in like an hour. I know it's getting late, but I have this feeling that staying too much longer won't be great. I just gotta convince my partner here." They disappeared up the stairs after that. The bartender set food and drink down before him, "Curst place she wants to go." ____________________________________________
"Yuri?" Aninka said rolling over to rest her face on his chest. She smiled as he reached up to tangle his hand in her hair. "Aninka." "What would you say if I told you I was reich?" His eyes focused and unfocused slightly although he looked a bit weirded out, "I guess. I'd ask you why them? Aninka. Are you saying it?" She looked down slightly at this her hand moving to trace the line of his firm chest, "Yes." He sat up and wrestled her back down to hold her. He smiled into her face, "You're reich."
She tried to smile, "Yeah." He leaned down to kiss her collarbone, "Why?" She smiled pulling him closer, "Because I have nothing else." He leaned back from her, "You could have me. You could have a place here." She looked up at him wanting to believe him. But she knew, this wasn't a place for her. "This place, this way is a shithole. I'm not saying the reich is better. They aren't. But at least we don't lie to ourselves that we aren't letting our poor starve to death."
He nodded at this pulling her closer to him, "That's true. We don't. And the rangers are the worst offenders. We mistreat the poor and take advantage of them. But what is killing going to do to solve this?" She shrugged against him, "I don't know. I just know I don't ever want to be poor again." He studied her eyes, "Why are you telling me this now."
She looked away from him, "I don't know. Because I need you. I need you to help me." He moved off of her to look at the ceiling. "You need me to go with you to Botanicheskiy."
Aninka had never reached out towards anyone, but in this instance she rolled over onto Yuri, "No. I'll go with or without you. But I meant I want you. I want you to love me. And accept that I'm a spy here. And that I'm going to do my best to bring this station to the ground." He turned his gaze from the ceiling to her. "Alright."
Her surprise was evident. "Don't look like that. I'll come with you. And I'll love you. But I won't give up on you leaving the reich. Even if you don't join us, there has to be a better way..." he pulled her to him as she let out a small laugh. He squeezed her, "Don't laugh. It has to be true. There has to be a better way." She smiled against his skin. "You show me it, and I'll join." Yuri laughed and leaned to kiss her newly stitched arm, "No more getting shot. That'd be my slogan." She smiled at him as he rolled her over again. _______________________________________ An hour later Aninka and Yuri appeared both still looking a little haggard and drunk. But both were fully clothed in their ranger gear. The bartender dropped packs on the counter for the both of them. She smiled leaning to kiss his cheek as she accepted her's. Aninka moved over towards Mantis holding out the rest of the bounty. "Is this enough for your services?"

"I can do that for you, but I'd rather not be intoxicated if its all the same to you." Mantis's muffled voice echoed, bobbing his head to he girl before him. "I shall be awaiting for your return." He waited for the couple to get dragged upstairs before turning to the counter and taking a seat, pulling the food place in front of his til the plate was nearly touching his stomach.
"One last thing if you would..." Mirrored eyes fixed on the barkeeper just as he was about to turn away. "Could you fry this up for me?" Reaching into his coat he produced the package he had been given earlier, as well as a few rounds for payment. "I like it bloody if you can manage it." Pushing the items towards the barkeep he waited for him to take them away before turning his attention to his food.
Watching Mantis eat was not a very pleasant sight... Reaching up with one hand he lifted up his mask so that the filters sat over his eyes, leaving him completely blind though he seemed to know where everything was around him. The absence of the mask revealed a sheet white face with little to no color definition even in his mouth, which he proceeded to lift meat and mushrooms into with a now glove-less hand which was a white as his face and seemed to lack fingernails. When he was done Mantis simply sat their until the contents of the package where placed in front of him in the form of small cubes of bloody meat which he quickly consumed one after another.
After wiping the blood trickling from his mouth and fingers the pale boy replaced his mask and glove checking bother where firmly in place before moving off to start up a game of Russian Ruollett with a bunch of thugs, using one of his revolvers. He seemed to have a nack for guessing where the bullet was, every pulling the trigger before stopping at the one he thought contained the bullet. After seeing his near suicidal acts of tempting death most folded then and there, pushing their rounds towards the Stalker in the bowler hat before leaving as quickly as possible. Not all where so clever however...
By the time Ani and Yuri returned the brains of the fourth looser in a row where being mopped off the wall, leaving a happily humming Mantis to count his winning on a lonely table. Seeing they where around again he scooped up the shells and jumped to his feet, giving his now fully loaded revolver a flick to put the loading chambers back in place.
"Are we ready to set off? Or do you perhaps need some more rest?" His bloodshot eyes lingered on the less the formal way they carried themselves but the mask managed to hide that. When she approached him, Mantis cocked her head at her. "I would have settled for simply an excuse to leave this place and a new set of footprints to accompany me. But if you insist..." He gently took hold of the bounty before tucking it away with the rest of his 'earnings' and moving over to hold the door open. "Shall we?"

Nikki gave a smirk as her selfish persistance won through. Besides, what's more than a bit of security and purchasing power on they way, hey? Alex, on the way there, looked more uncomfortably awkward than ever, and it was beyond the fact that his family on this side of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line were being hunted down like the plague. It could too be attributed to the fact that theywere just walking there. Nikki had mad it very clear, to keep relations good with the kind Ranger, they would listen to his input. Alex didn't like being on the ground, walking in the open where he was vulnerable. The catacombs, sewers, derelict buildings and roof tops where he could move fast and unseen was where he belonged. Both Nikki and Alex were nervous, although Nikki didn't show it. She was scared of what they might encounter there, Alex was always looking over his shoulder rightfully fearing this unforgiving necropolis.
"When we get there I'll show you one of the stashes," He said to Nikki, "a smaller one, it will be way more than enough for years to come if you're not too stupid." "Don't tell me you're cheating us." Nikki's tone held no guilt but Alex flinched regardless in his panicked response. "N-no! It's not that. The fortune is safe where it is and the place I'm going to show you will probably be enough for the 3 of us to carry without hindrance." Nikki paused for a moment. This was one of the smaller stashes? 3 of us? Wow, so her good conscience of looking after this kid finally paid off. The tunnel was illuminated by an orange light that quickly died again, a match that was lighting up Nikki's cigarette. She even offered Dimitri one.
"So Alex, you is the youngest of your family then? The one you alluded to, how old it she?" "She'd only be 3 months old now." "Oh. What relation to her father is she?" Alex went silent, a silence that threatened the question without answer. After a drawn out time, "She's dad's grand daughter." Nikki gave a quick 'oh' before continuing on. Than she remembered that to the best of her knowledge - "But you're an only chil-"
She was interrupted as Nikki and Dimitri suffered acute headaches. Whispers echoed in their minds. Alex panicked, "No, please don't hurt them!" he squeaked, "They won't hurt you, I promise." If Dimitri or Nikki weren't so distracted by the pain, they may question what he was yelling at. Nikki sat down briefly after the headache stopped.
