can the doom use cataclysm if it's not in synapse range? in his bio he has the instinctive behavior - feed which says it can't fire a weapon but doesn't say anything about psychic attacks. please point me in the direction to page numbers if at all possible, thanks guys. the reason i ask is my gaming club has a league coming up that's starting with a kill team game. thinking of taking doom with warriors.

As far as I can tell, if he fails his Instinctive Behaviour check, he can't make any Shooting Attacks, including Psychic Shooting Attacks.

But remember that he has to fail the Instinctive Behaviour Ld Test first, which shouldn't happen very often. As long as he passes that, he can act as he wishes.

I will have to agree with WestRider. Unfortunately I don't have a page number as I am away from my BRB; however, it is a psychic shooting attack, which follow the rules of shooting. Can't shoot whilst feeding, cataclysm = witchfire. Just have to pass LD test.

On another note, I'd love to hear how kill team goes with DoM, hahahaha. I'm not familiar with Kill Team rules but doesn't each individual model count as a seperate unit (e.g. 10 tactical marines counts as 10 individual units)? In which case, that could be 10 possible 3d6 leadership tests... that sounds awful

To reiterate what WR said, Doom needs to be out of synaspse *and* fail his Ld10 IB roll before suffering from FEED.

But when Feeding, he can't shoot, so no Cataclysm.

Also remember you ignore IB tests the turn a unit arrives from reserves.
