why can our tyrant etc use biomamcy

ive read the codex and ive skimmed all relevant pages in the rule book  but i cant seem to find anywhere that says we can have biomancy    please advise....

also i saw a few threads on army list with tyrands playing with allies   ladt i checked we can only allie with ourself. everything else is come the apocolypse.. am i right in my understanding

Of course you can use Biomancy! It's a staple psi power for the army. All you do is give up the Tyrant's 2 codex powers and replace them with 2 randomly generated Biomancy powers. Then all you do is pray you roll a "1" or a "3"...

Tyranids can't have allies so if you see anyone playing with tyranid allies they are either making up rules or cheating.

As for biomancy powers, every psyker can generate powers from the 1-5 schools in the main rulebook depending on their codex (can be seen in the FAQ for older codexes) details on this on pg 418 or 142 depending on if you use the large or small book.

i appriciate ur comment but can u tell me where it says nids can take it.     i know they can ive seen enough batreps to know .  i just cant seek to find where in any book it says nids can use biomancy.  if that is true. can we hav any of the diciplines or just bio

Right here, is where it says it. You should get familiar with this document as it vastly affects how your army plays.
