Biography:
Jinx's misfortune started long before he was born,his father died in a car accident months before Jinx was born.
While giving birth,his mother passed away as well.
He ended up in a crowded orphanage from birth,the adults there were harsh and as expected from a crowded,low standard orphanage,only the Strong survived,those nearing adolescence took lead roles and the orphanage was in a Mafia-like state,the caretakers couldn't care less,the tyranny was keeping the orphans quiet.
through his days in the orphanage,Jinx managed to keep his strength up by holding tightly to the one possession his parents had left him,a pitch black amulet.
The young boy remained in the orphanage until the age of 5,by that time his min had been completely broken,he spent most of his time sitting in a corner,mumbling to himself while clutching his amulet tight.
Official reports state that the orphanage burned down due to a malfunctioning oven,but the real reason is darker than most would imagine.
The incident drove Jinx even deeper into insanity,his amulet was never seen again after the fire,his only hope,extinguished.
Most orphans died in the fire,the remaining ones were spread all over Japan to other orphanages,Jinx got transferred to an orphanage
by the name of Saint Mary's Orphanage.
Misfortune befell all those who got close to him and strange incidents started happening at the orphanage shortly after Jinx arrived,like items disappearing or being destroyed out of nowhere,it was only then that he gained a name,'Jinx' for all those who got close to him got misfortune.
Meanwhile the boy was little more than a husk of what he used to be,his emotions were all but gone and even though he had mastered speech,he rarely talked to anybody,only doing so when absolutely necessary.
His stay in the Saint Mary's orphanage was short,only being as little as 4 months before a rich duke by the name of Einzberg took interest in him.
The duke had stumbled unto the files of the burnt-down orphanage by accident and had investigated a little further,it didn't take him very long to figure out what truly happened.
Something had caused Jinx's esper powers to activate and he had gone completely berserk.
Due to the duke's influence,long procedures were skipped and within days,Jinx arrived at the Einzberg manor,little was known about what happened in there,the next record of him being when he showed up inside academy city as a student of The Black Wing.
Barely did the young boy seek any contact with others and his mumbling had only gotten worse,more often than not he was seen toying with his cellphone,at times,he suddenly got up during class and left,the only thing that kept him from being punished clearly was the influence his adoptive father,Duke Einzberg held.
His true reason for entering academy city was to track down a Magical Index that was said to be inside of the city in order to greaten the Einzberg Line's influence,he tracked her down on the premise that she was to be taken to the Einzberg Estate to discuss the terms of gaining some magical tomes.
He encountered unforeseen problems however,in the form of Nyanko,Garasu and many others that had seen through hat his father really wanted from Index.
However his resolve was strong,shortly before coming to academy city,the daughter of Duke Einzberg,Elizabeth,had been slain by a cult that was trying to capture the index as well,Jinx had been very close to his so-called sister and her dead had caused him massive grief,rage and made hum overcome with feelings of vengeance,as such he did everything in his powers to full fill his objective,however it didn't seem to be enough.
While reporting his fruitless attempts at securing the index,he caught 3 intruders in the Einzberg Estate,an Esper by the name of Garasu and 2 mages by the name of Stiyl and Kanzaki.
He saw a chance there however,if he could gain the trust of these people that were close to Index,his chances might go up,as such,he full filled their request to show them around the Estate,he showed them the basement,which to him was known as the place where he trained to hone his powers,it was in fact a hall filled with torture rooms.
Anger overcame him as accusations were thrown at him and he tried to defend himself and his father.
Things were starting to get tense when a butler showed up,telling Jinx there was somebody that wanted to see him,as such,right before a fight That would certainly cost jinx's life ensued,the 4 were led upstairs,to a waiting room.
Once the butler was gone,Jinx opened a box and pressed a button in it,causing -in a cliche fashion- a closet to move and reveal a small room with sofa's against the walls and an open space in the middle,Garasu,Stiyl,Kanzaki and Jinx had barely taken a seat when the closet opened once more,revealing a girl around Jinx's age with long,black hair and a katana on her side.
The girl was Elizabeth Einzberg,who -in a cliche fashion- revealed that she had faked her death to fool Jinx into becoming a pawn.
Jinx was once more broken and in utter rage attacked Elise,causing his arm to be cut off before he realized it.
He realized that the 4 of them would be unable to beat Elise and as such,pleaded for the others to flee,his Long being pierced in the process.
After a short fight,Jinx managed to buy time for the others to flee,using the last of his powers,he himself escaped as well,into the forest behind the Einzberg Estate.
For hours he wandered,barely keeping consciousness due to the blood loss,after what seemed to be an eternity,Jinx found a tree with a small door hidden next to it,he opened it and fell down,the door closing behind him,in that pitch black darkness,he sat up once more,coughing up so much blood that he had almost completely lost his sight.
Using his powers,he attempted to burn the wound on his arm shut,losing consciousness multiple times during the process before finally managing to close it,days had passed before it worked completely and Jinx lay near dead.
With his own blood,he drew a magic circle,in one last gambit to save his life,he cast a healing spell to stop the bleeding in his long and restore himself,however the feedback from his esper powers conflicting with the magic was greater than he had expected.
The bleeding had been stopped,however,Jinx was unable to move for what seemed like an eternity.

Other Notes: Jinx is a lvl 4 Esper with the ability to make what he thinks become reality,however,due to his insanity,he rarely reaches above level 2,using his powers to create spoons out of glowing hot metal or conjure ink with his finger instead of using a pen.
Jinx's powers depend largely on his emotions and memories,as such he is capable of summoning things that left a big impact on him,a dagger-like piece of ice seeming to be what he usually uses.
