We now have what 4 codex since the launch of 6th edition.
Please refrain from wish listing, there is a thread already for that sort of thing.
But taking what we see from the other codex that have already come out, can we see any trend that we can apply to our codex and type of forces, that we will see change in the next book?
How do people see this influencing what they will give to us.
Its a little hard i realize as the tyranid is kind of isolated and does not follow many of the normal army set ups.
The lean towards 1 or 2 centre piece models like the riptide and Wraithknight, makes me think maybe then we will also get a new beast, possible making the Trygon go the way of the carnifex.
Psychic powers, Biomancy is already pretty exclusively ours, but we can expect our own set (it sells more cards)
Cheaper (points wise) models. The books are showing the cost of stuff dropping for basic troops, (we buy more models) But will they introduce a new small model type?
We already have the few hinted statements from GW about "making every unit viable and desirable" I don't really believe they will get there. They have never made a truly balanced codex and as Tranids are outside the "Marine" standard, i don't expect them to realize how nids work. All the battle reports show they have no idea how to use the units (even the really bad choices they pick). The last codex shows some poor judgment.
but on the flip side the latest codex have been more towards balance(which is a good thing).
This is trying to apply trend analysis not wish listing, so before you answer try thinking through the reasoning why you make the reply.
