Assault of the Old Ones

This is a roleplay about the creatures that created the Tyranid Hive. They are powerful beyond belief and not yet in this universe. You will be the united force against the eradication of all life in the galaxies. That means that any alliance can happen. (Well... except the 'Nids, they can't be played) Now on to the background and plot

The story takes places in the 41st century, meaning that it's happening now in the 40k universe. The planets of several sectors have been swallowed by warp storms over the years, but now they've been spit out, but not where they were before. They are currently located outside of the existing systems, orbiting a star that wasn't there before. Since the warp spit these planets out, the Tyranids have become more and more focused, with multiple Hive Fleets joining together and ignoring potential biomass to get to these planets as quickly as possible. All around the sectors, hidden members of Genestealer Cults are leaving behind everything and traveling with Rogue Traders, feeling a call to these planets. Every sector has noticed key officials disappearing, and upon inspection of their property discovered they were members of Genestealer Cults. Thus, every race has discovered the existance of these planets, planets that are covered by Tyranid forces. Psychers have been having dreams that give them chills, driving them closer to madness with images of dark ones who radiate with a power stronger than that of the Chaos Gods. No one knows what is going to happen, but it's going to happen soon. That is certain.

It looks interesting but what sort of Bio's do you want? And are there restrictions like the need to be on the same side/planet and what is our motives? Are we going to investigate the planets or are we repelling an attack or something?

I thought I had stated, I'm sorry. Any race / group is okay except the nids, and I am perfectly fine with having genestealer cult members in the party, so no you don't have to be on the same side, but I think most of you will be. If you decide to be on the Old Ones side, you can PM me about it. I just want a simple name, backstory, and "job" in whichever society he came from. It will be starting with investigation, but may evolve into repelling an attack

History: Lynch came to the Inquisitions attention from a young age and like most he simply vanished. Many thought him dead in one of the many gutters of the hive but in truth he was undergoing a series of trials to determinate if he would be fit to carry out the emperors justice. Barely old enough to spell his own name he sat trembling as men that where more machine than flesh came to poke his frail body while hooded figures pulled apart his mind and examined it. The process took years but not once did he utter a sound, not even during his training where he was forced to fight for his life against screaming heretics and fellow students alike. Though that didn't mean he lacked a sharp tongue, in the field he proved to invulnerable in political matters and the manipulation of minds, making it seem only natural he would act as the eyes and ears of the Emperors justice. In all his years of service he has never shown any reason to question his loyalties but he has heard many things. Secrets that would turn lesser men mad. Secrets that would put the worm of doubt into any mind...
Weapons: Plasma pistol
Power: Lynch is an adept psyker who specializes in the manipulation and reading of other minds but in combat will use his powers to create small knife like blades of energy that swirl around him to take out throats and cut off limbs with the ease of a power weapon.

Name: Lautrec 'Darkmoon'
Age: 48
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Job: Inquisitior, Ordo Xenos
Appearance: about 7' 5", Lautrec is a giant amongst men, standing over space marine scouts with ease. He has very dark hair, almost too black to be possible, and a permanent morning beard. He wears Medival style plate mail, which is Mae of an ultralight experimental material- custom crafted for him- that boots his strength to greater levels with Hydralic technology. He fights with a Powersword sized as a Greatsword, but du to his height and strength he wilds it on-handed. He also has 2 pistols, on a bolt pistol, the other a modified Heavy Bolt pistol with Kraken rounds. These pistols are kept hidden somewhere, but he can seemingly draw them with ease. He wears a Heavy cape, black on one side, Red on the other. Usually wears that black side up.
History:Lautrecs past is as classified as it gets, but from various it can be determined he was first recruited as an inquisitor 33 years prior- some say 30, 31- during an incident involving a gene stealer cult on his home world --Exterminatus order. Authorised by Inquisitor Darkmoon-- where he impressed The Lord inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos with a display of bravery, foolishness and raw physical power that resulted in the death of a brood lord, and the genestealers falling back. He dissapears off the map until the Dark Eldar incident 23 years prior, where he slew the Dark Eldar 'Countess' who was posing as a Human noble to capture an Eldar webway gate the Govenor had long kept guarded. Other incidents with sightings of the giant appear throughout human history, but few speak of the man, calling him an 'Ill omen'. Lautrec has many subordinates, most of which he has hidden throughout the sector, he has called many to his aid n this Task he now takes on, but knows not how many will come.
Other notes: the Employer of Raylith Lynch. Known as 'The Count' in most accounts, du to his use of the Greatsword captured from the 'Countess' during their fight. Has his own Starship, the 'Darkmoon Blade'.

Feel free to be more of my Subordinates guys. He doesent enforce too many limits on what he hires, but he doesn't use mutants.

History: Psyche's history is also nearly unknown. The story most officials accept is that a young girl named Liliana was discovered by the Imperium with the unique ability to craft blades and stealth spells using the power of her mind. They took her in immediately for indoctrination. When she emerged from this process several years later she'd been enhanced immensely learning all the skills of an assassin and to hone her blades. Despite this, few buy the story although some agree her name may have previously been Liliana. Either way, her reputation as an assassin is without equal. She has never failed at an assignment and has gone toe to toe many times with opponents far over matching her physically. It is because of this that many question why she has fallen in with Lautrec Darkmoon. While his own reputation sufficiently equals hers, their methods would seem to conflict considerably. Despite all evidence to the contrary she is stoic in standing with him for battle. Whether the two have ever openly agreed to work together is anybodies guess, but their semblance of a working relationship has been true for nearly 2 years.

Weapons include: Many small blades for throwing, very light armor, a cloak. A fan which she usually uses to cover her face while interacting with others. A very large cloak she wears over her scant combat gear when out of battle. Her hands also seem to have a very sharp claw like exoskeleton on them.

Name: Gorok Kro
Age: 67

Race: Kroot
Occupation: Mercinary/hitman/private investigation
Appearance: A Kroot wearing imperial carapace armour and Cadian pants which look like a longer pair of baggy shorts on him. Over this he wears a brown, dirty, hooded cloak. The back of its hood is riddles with holes poked by the Gorok's head quills, a few of which are decorated with gold rings. His left arm is replaced by a brass, mechanical prosthesis, marked with Chaos and Khornate iconography. Many of his personal belongings are carried on his faithful steed, a small knarloc named Pagmrok.

History: A seasoned renegade from the Kro kindred, this mercinary left his children and wives long ago after being usurped by the return of his older brother more than 30 years ago. He has long ago abandoned the ideals of the Tau'va, Gorok has travelled the very depths of this galaxy from surviving a job on Crownworld Mandragora to being hired arms in the depths of Lower Commoragh. He has had many dealings with the Ordo Xenos for the intelligence that an individual who travels the galaxy such as he has can be invaluable. After a deal went ill with a small ork clan, Gorok has lost his left arm, replaced by a mechanical augmentation he was paid by a renegade mechanicum cult who had turned to the worship of Khorne. The brass gauntlet suits his needs very well, with the caress of his other hand but with the potential strength of a powerfist. The recent news from Rogue Traders who owe him favours is that the emergence of planets from a recent warp storm has triggered an Inquisitorial investigation. Gorok would be happy to assist if the price is right.

Weaponry: Gorok's signature armament is a railrifle, spikes added onto the barrel and stock which on missions and asignment where he does not need it on him is carried by Pagmrok. He often duel wields bolt pistols, holstered on his thighs. He also proudly displays a beautifully crafted wych knife on his belt, held in a scabbard which constantly resharpens the example of dark eldar craftsmanship to a monomolecular razor edge. Of course, there's his mechanical arm which renegade Tech priests payed him with for his services.

Age: Unknown, tapered by years in the warp and gifts from Tzeentch

Race: Warp Tainted Human
Job: All Seer for the Lord of Change

Appearance:

Bio: Once an Inquisitor, Omnes was very renowned for his ability to point out flaws in plans before anyone had lined up for better. He was dubbed all seer and his name changed after two years in the business. Some say he practiced more wicked methods and could see the future. The claims of heresy were heard often and every time he was found to be clean but the ones who accused were always found a few weeks later branded with crimes against the emperor. Years past and Omnes kept to his work secretly worshiping Tzeentch until he finally recieved a mission close enough to the warp and he jumped in. Now years later he has reappeared as if called by something more, his skin covered in streaks of blue energy and a Scythe covered in Tzeentchian markings.

Name: Jordan Graves (usually known as Graves)
Age: Unknowns looks to be in 30 other then grey hairs
Appearance:

He is 5'9 about 180 pounds black hair with some grey in it and green eyes (if he ever takes off his mask)

Graves is/was a vindicare assassin, because of a very old never before used clause in the vindicare temple saying that an assassin must retire at a certain age he no longer is fully in the temple other then odd jobs they call him for. None but a few know what that age is and even less know how far beyond that Graves is but those who know keep the secret well. Graves name is not well known to many other then some high up officials in the inquisition. He now is moved to different Inquisitors as needed. A crack shot who can instantly take look at a situation and figure out what needs to be taken out is always good to have, on a team. Graves specializes in multiple assassinations when more then one person needs to be dealt with. This means along with his normal assassin gear he has a few extras not many know of. Graves like many of his temple are very patient but prone to revenge (as that is the vindicare way)

Gear: Duel shot Exitus rifles (can fire two shots instead of the normal single shot) Standard issue Exitus pistol. and gatling exitus pistol (sub machine gun version that fires only hell fire rounds) Armoured Stealth suit, spy mask and blind grenades. He has Hell fire, turbo perpetrator and shield breaker rounds.
