my apacolips battle (hive fleet hydra[story])

Any-one want to read about my story of the hydra hive fleet? I've made a complete story of my battle against the orks, the stupid overconfident orks. And yes it's 8,000 pts. APOCOLIPS!!! I will do a battle report later. Sorry about the no story I need to finish it.

I think you've got the wrong board man. If its a story you want to be putting it in the tyranid art/fanfic board. But if you do put it up (and I realize it at the time) I'll give it a read.

Hive Fleet Hydra

The hive fleet hydra has been hibernating for thousands of years and still have a problem.

volcanic action on the ice world dwarf planet of Dramzic Aetern (uninhabitable,

little atmosphere, high radiant, 60 million miles away from a home pulsar) started to release

solid mercury into the underground digestive pools of the fleet (mercury is a base and the acids in the digestive pools are sulphuric, strong bio acids [there were neutrals inside that are the fleet’s resources]) causing one big “belly-ace” destroying the fleet’s

neutral resources.


The solution was simple just raise a capillary tower (bio-structure for delivering or receiving biomass from or to other hive ships) and send a gravitational distress signal throughout space to the nearest hydra hive ship to give it resources, but unfortunately all other hive ships were hibernating. Also in the way of the signal was a dagon hive ship low on resources.


The hive ship came to the capillary in response of rescue but only took the rest of the resources.

out of aggression a kraken’s egg hatched revealing the only thing in the universe to overcome the hive mind even under synapse control, the hydra.


This titanic creature was bigger than the hive ship and could leap out the orbit of a planet, it ate the hive ship with the multiple maws big enough to swallow a castle, or in other words an imperial titan! (a walking castle built for war)












Unfortunately many astropaths had died in the thinking of that much psychic power and their souls could only pass this feeling not even to the psychic supremacy of the Emperor himself.
But somehow an astropath survived it by not giving all his power through the palace and only got a taste of the power, also gossip lured the overconfident orks to this pulsar system.
