Tension has loosened a bit, and Fenrir, looking like he paid no attention whatsoever to the events unfolding around him, still focused on Pest groweled wonderingly: "What are you then, and what is your agenda", he continued after a brief pause. "I had no problem figuring everyone's elses, yet yours remain mistery to me, same as your "skills" ".

Pest has already half turned away when the guy spoke up again, causing him to freeze mid turn. Slowly he twisted his head back round to the soldier and it could be seen through his clear goggles that he had an annoyed frown. "Weren't you listening? We have a squad of the emperors flying lackeys closing in and you want to know my agenda?"
Pest put a hand to his face and shook his head slowly before looking at jumpy again. "If you must know then my agenda is what we want it to be and as for my skills I have many. One of my favorite is making a rather nice hat out of a squig. Now, are you happy?"

"Fine", Fenrir acknowleged, "we can continue our discussion at a latter time, we should move, all of us. I'll go scout ahead". He turned his cloak on again, and disappeared as quickly as he did appear just moments ago.

Lorenzo, the drop troop still over his shoulder, rose his chainsword at a pure blood warewolf who appeared to somehow have gotten their hands on craftworld technology and was able to use it. It must have been a psyker. Before Lorenzo could shout his battle cry the strange possessed boy seemed to handle the negotiations with the sound of utter madness. This somehow convinced the hunter into an ally, something that toyed with Lorenzo's head, his face in utter disbelief.
While the warewolf went ahead, a squad from the Coalition's militia scouted out the area strode over the crest of the hill before Fenrir's return. Lorenzo hurried for the others to take cover placing the droptroop down beside him as they opened fire with their autoguns and las guns. They had them pinned, Lorenzo taking pot shots with his hotshot las pistol. They started to entrentch themselves into the high position.
Suddenly one was hoisted up into the air by an invisible force. Than flickered in and out the image of a large mechanical serpent or insect could be seen, eviscerating the man with the glows of the familiar green lightening. The creature than vanished but the panicked Coalition militants had let down their guard long enough for the Kosovitch warriors to launch counter strike against them. He beckoned the others to charge as Lorenzo burst forwards, the pistol's lasers leading his assault as he leaped and his chain axe's teeth sunk into the man's flesh.

"PEOPLE!" Pest roared before making a break at the closest man, not even waiting for the firing to stop. He was little more than a blur of motion as he jumped from side to side, over obstacles and even found the time to give a guardsman that had died at a funny angle a high five. When the creature ripped into its target he was only meters away from his chosen victim.
With a cackle he ran past the man leaving him blinking in confusion until the blunt end of a primed grenade was shoved down his throat. So caught up was Pest in killing more people he didn't even seem to notice as the worm creature vanished not ten meters away from him, but in truth he just didn't care and got to the fighting, leaving Yam goggle over the thing obviously curious.
Pulling a knife from his belt Pest spun around taking the nearest soldiers throat out with his sickle before throwing the knife at a heavy weapons guy, who fell to the floor as the sharp object found its way between his ribs. Completing the spin Pest took a second to look the rest of the soldiers head on who stared back at him, shocked at how quickly their friends had been killed.
Just as they where about to raise their rifles to end the masked freak Pest raised both his fists in the air, shouting "REVA LE REVOLUTION!" at the exact time the choking of the first man stopped and was replaced by the thunder of an explosion and soon after the patter of blood hitting the grownd. The men hesitated horrified at the others death as well as being confused at why he was shouting about a revolution. It wasn't a long pause but it gave Pest enough time to pull the pin on one of the canisters on his chest, causing a black plume of smoke to cover him.
All they heard of him after that was the echoing laughter of a mad man until a hand reached out of the oily smog to pull one of their number inside. When the fog clear nothing was to be seen of the crazed teenager, but there comrade had been left behind. Now missing his legs he was hung upside down by his intestines from a Kosovitch banner, still groaning in pain. No one moved. That was until the laughter began again

As Fenrir was returning from scouring the area, the battle has already begun. Blood was spilt, smoke was thick, and he could feal unease, something was not right. He could feel presence of something ancient, without feelings, reason and total lack of any emotion watsoever. His whole essence was disturbed by this entity, something he never faced before.Fenrir quickly joined in the afray, warping himself behind already frightened and disoriented coalition soldiers, launching his net, capturing one alive and with his lightning claws made short work of an unfortunate other soul.Moments after he heard maniacal laughter as Pest was tearing another soldier limb by limb and Lorenzo ripping apart armour of their sergeant with his chainaxe. Poor coalition troops never had any chance of getting through this in one piece...

Toran watched in shock as the coalition troops were torn apart by the group. 'I have got to help them'. Toran thought. Mustering all of the strength he could, he brought his Hot-shot lasgun up to his hip and shot a wild burst in the direction of the fight. The recoil knocked him off of his knees, sending him sprawling in the dust. He grabbed the strap of his gun and crawled behind a piece of wreckage, hoping the heretics and mutants would not find him. Another wave of dizziness hit him as the fight ended...

An'yra watched the conflict in interest from her cover position. The Coalition forces were in the disadvantageous position here, and the other side had offered her employment. It seemed fair enough... But her Ethics were playing a bit of a Part in the decision. As she watched, The Injured drop trooper tried firing off a shot, but was brought crashing to the ground. An'yra made up her mind. She would satisfy her ethical problems AND get paid.
Suddenly, a pair of bright red lights appeared on the coalition forces, followed swiftly by a burst of pulse-fire. An'yra gave a small smile under her helmet- she had missed the fight a little, after all. She turned to aim at another coalition soldier, who was also slain in a sudden bright burst of fire. Looking around, she saw a Sniper aiming at the one who had offred her Employment. Dropping her own pulse carbine, she flung another Photon grenade, which this time exploded behind the group of her soon to be ally's- leaving them immune to the worst of the effects, and blinding several enemy's, including the sniper. Raising her own rail rifle, An'yra reduced his head to molten gunk in a split second, and the field was treated to the whip-crack sound of a Tau Rail weapon.
Once the fight was over, An'yra came out from the building, and pulled her helmet off. "Greetings. I believe you had an offer of Employment? I wish to take up your offer." Giving a quick salute, she then ran over to the Injured drop trooper, and picked him up, placing him atop the Marker drone, which still hovered a decent height above the ground. Looking over at the mangled body, An'yra shuddered. "Is that... The one calling himself pest... Is he always like this?"

Vierna didn't hesistate when they were unpinned. She charged out from behind the rock straight at one of the militants. Her fan unfurled sweeping out in a graceful slash to spill the man's throat and then as she drew the fan down in a line his guts onto the sand. She turned in the same movement ducking away from several shots to cast aside her duster and draw her Djin blade. The spirit inside it began to whisper as she turned knocking aside a stray shot with the well honed blade and catching another in her steel fan as she reached another guard and disposed of him with just as much speed and grace.
When the dust cleared and all lay dead she put her sword back and snapped the fan shut with an audible click that caused all the blood to run off of it. She turned back towards the others including a new tau and wolfish man and nodded in thanks before moving to search the corpses for usable material.

Wiping the blood off his brow, Lorenzo noted a bright lights ignite and fade behind him. He looked behind him to see the Fire Warrior pick off the last of the deviant scum, the Tau fought cowardly but with the martial of Kharneth. He wiped the blood off his chain axe and walked over to the xenos, she standing with a rifle almost two thirds her height.
"Greetings. I believe you had an offer of Employment? I wish to take up your offer." "The revolution of the Koservitch Union could certainly use your telants. Come with us to the 19th regiment and your payment can be arranged." She then ran to the injured soldier and placed him upon one of the machine spirits the Tau'va were known for. "Is that... The one calling himself pest... Is he always like this?" "I believe the boy to be gifted with a blessed angel of Nergal, the benevolent father of life has chosen him. We must go, warn the rest that the Coalition wish to reclaim this ground."
As the small group followed the tracks of the retreat, Lorenzo's keen senses inherited from his warewolf and half eldar blood noted glimpses of tall slender warriors. He thought them dark eldar of the Wraith Kind who plagued the sector, but rarely do they travel in small numbers nor would they simply observe. There did not have the harsh outline of kabalite armour but rather, from what he could tell from the few snapshots he saw of them, a smooth plastic like armour. Some others with large rifles and cloaks also faded in and out. To turn your head to get a better look you find these phantoms vanished. Eldar were watching them, why would a craftworld be interested in this sector? Did it have to do with that mechanical beast that seemed to fade into thin air?
As they approached a fortified outpost that belonged to the Union, it was obvious that there was something not right. Scorch marks from auto cannon and las cannon fire dotted the bastion walls, the shells of Koservitch vehicles were smoldering and bloodied Union uniforms littered the ground. Scattered among them were the bodies of the Coalition of the Free. Lorenzo's rage was barely contained. The sun was low in the scared, smoke-choked sky and the empty and battered bastions were shelter. He turned to the rest of the group. "We will be united again with the Revolutionary army, mark my words. This set back is very temporary."

Pest was picking through the dead muttering the odd joke to himself when he heard the Tau say his name. With a single jerk of the head he looked up and for several seconds looked into the Xeno's eyes. She could see he looked perfectly normal but the longer she looked the more the shadows seemed to deepen and her vision started to tunnel.
Before she could break the contact however Pest flung himself backwards, howling with laughter as he clutched his sides trying to make the laughing stop. "Oh (please do not swear)! I didn't thing the rumors where true!" he managed to gasp before looking at the Tau again to be enveloped in a new fit of laughter.
"I'm sorry Yam! But look! It has a (please do not swear) slit on its head!" He waited until the warrior had put its helmet back on before trying to look at her again, and even then he was still giggling. Without another word he followed the storm trooper but every now and again he would turn to look at the Tau and let off a quiet chuckle, and when he thought she wasn't looking would look at the imperial with a look of hunger and curiosity in his eyes.
He also for the most part ignored the slender figures watching them. He would sometimes try to glance at one but to no success, though Yammer could often make out the pale glows of soul stones but made no mention of them. Pest could feel his unease at not knowing what was happening so he decided to hum a tune to calm him down. It didn't work but Yam found the looks the others gave Pest rather amusing.
When they reached the outpost Pest stopped dead to survey the carnage. He seemed to be legitimately worried by the destroyed building. That was until he yelled something about calling a top bunk before running off to find something sugary. All this fighting had made him hungry and when he got hungry he was ravenous.

ooc- As i'm a female tau, technically its a Y shaped slit.
"She has a (Please do not swear) Slit on its head!" The one called pest howled, laughing. The Colour of An'yra's cheeks changed to a deeper Blue, and she quickly put her helmet back on. She caught Pest looking several times at the Imperial on the back of her drone, but she didn't say anything. She'd have him vaporised if he touched the man.
They Aproached the building and An'ra let out a little gasp as she saw the carnage. "Oh... Wow. This war is more brutal than I had thought it might be." She knelt down by one of the soldiers- she wasn't even sure which, he had that much blood on his clothes and armour. She began a basic scan of his body, but he was defiantely dead. "Killed by a Chainaxe. Looks like he's... Coalition, by the dog tags. At least your men died like warriors." She stood up, and looked at the Imperial on her drone.
"You guys can make a camp or something. I've been on the move all day, and If we've got those... Eldar... watching us, I'd rather have as many people on our side as possible. I'm going to try and get the Drop Trooper back on his feet. You'll be able to handle him if he causes trouble, right?"
