2500 Points of Dakka Goodness? Need help

So, I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a plausible shooty list. I kinda threw this together, and I'd love to actually play it, but before I go dropping some serious cash on a tonne of models, I would love your input. I play in a few game shops, and one of them has a 2500 point tournament coming up where I know everyone is bringing loads of marines. Usually with lots of flamers and other things that make assault lists next to impossible.

General plan would be to deploy the trygon, biovores, one of the tervigons, both tyrants, and all but the doom for the elites. Hug cover for turn 1, abusing the Hive Guard guns in cover, dropping plates on infantry with biovores, and keeping the tyrant with HC out of harms way for one hell of a turn 2 where I drop devilgaunts in the rear, doom in the middle, and outflank a tervigon.

I've never played a game at this points level before (I usually play at 1850 tops), so input and critiques are definitely wanted here.

I don't think you need much help, as it looks a pretty solid list to me.

The only things I might do differently is to give the two Tervigons catalyst and not roll on biomancy. That way you guarantee the ability to cast Feel No Pain on a unit. If you are starting the two Hive Tyrants on the board (and they haven't rolled Endurance) then the Tervigons can cast it on them before they swoop, making them a lot more survivable. Of course you'll want the OA Tyrant to swoop within 6" of a Devilgaunt brood so they can re-roll those 1's to hit and wound, making them more effective.

I might also be tempted to swap out a brood of Hive Guard for the Deathleaper. At 2500pts you might be facing a few tough psychers, so the ability to reduce their leadership by d3 could be very useful, especially if you drop Doom nearby, as the psycher's unit will be rolling 3d6 for Spirit Leech at a reduced leadership. Depending on how things go, the Deathleaper can hide out to claim Linebreaker on Turn 5, potentially winning you the game. You'll still have 6 Hive Guard which is plenty. The spare 10pts can give Toxin Sacs to your Trygon.

I agree with skymango on dropping a brood of Hive Guard. Unless you know your opponents are going to be vehicle heavy, you might find your Hive Guard wanting for targets. I've found in my experience that saves vs. AP4 shots are made much more often then they're failed. And if you're shooting at Armor 4 or worse with your Hive Guard then you've probably either wiped out the tougher targets or you don't understand target priority. Deathleaper is good at this point level. But then so are more Biovore. Or a third Flyrant
