need some help for 500pts tourney list with restri

there's gonna be a tourney with 500pts lists.
restrictions are: 0-1 HQ, 1-2 troops, 0-1 elite, 0-1 heavy, 0-1 fast

max 1 flyer, no fortifications just a gun emplacement, missions are based on taking objectives and 1 missions has the rule that everything is scoring with the exception of non troop MC, vehicles, artillery, these are only denial units, no special characters.

so I think it's not easy to make a real competitive list, f.e. necrons can easily add a scythe in such a list.

my idea:

HQ:

tervigon 160

troops:

tervigon with ts and ag 180
gaunts (13) 65

heavy:

biovore (1) 45

elite;

hive guard (1) 50


feel free to give some comment/ideas.

Drop the hq terv and biovore for a dual tl dev flyrant maybe? Kills hordes, harder to kill, needs no babysitter, and gives shadow of the warp faster?

As a scuttling swarm fan, I tend to start by seeing how many models I can get on the board, particularly at low point values. For a starting point, could go:

Terv - 160
20 Gants - 100
20 Gaunts - 120
20 Gargoyles - 120

Issue being here of course there's no anti-tank or flyer, though with 61+ models on a 4x4 board, you could potentially ignore flyers. Dropping the gargs or gaunts would allow you to get 2 hive guard and give the Terv AG & TS. In that scenario, dropping the gaunts would allow you to take the terv as troops, making it scoring, which would be nice. This option is a little closer to your original list.

All that said, I don't know that you can go wrong with 2 tervs at 500 points since they'll boost your total point value by about 20% in the first turn.

i need to drop the hive guard as well if i want to add the flyrant, i still think he's overrated, each time they roll a 6 a grounded test, if he crashes he loses the rest of his wounds immediatley by the units shooting with normal bs at him.
