Tyranid Trait and Power question

Hello Hivers,

It's been a while since I've been on so treat my question as a new comer's.
(In other words, forgive me if the question has been asked before, but I couldn't find it in the search.)

Is there going to be some sort of errata giving Tyranids their own powers and/or warlord traits like Chaos has? And on that note, would the other up to date armies (Grey Knight, Dark Eldar, Necrons, etc) get them too?

Thanks guys. I promise I'll make the attempt to get on more often. You can never have too many Nids right?

I do not think there will be any such errata. Also, only Chaos and Dark Angels are "up to date". All the rest will probably get warlord traits and such when their own codexes are released.

It is very highly likely (I think it is a 100% certainty) that when we get a new codex we will get Tyranid specific powers and warlord traits.

I agree in the next codex we will get the traits and powers. But what I'm asking is if there is any news of us getting them before hand. Most all the armies now have flyers since the SM flyer and the Ork Bomba release a while back. So if they are content with releasing new models and rules for those, why not traits and powers?

We don't need them pre-codex since we have the BRB ones. There's really no reason for them to rush something that's already fine with so many broken rules that need errata first.

Biomancy, Telepathy and Telekinesis. If you check the Tyranids FAQ, it explains under the section on psychic powers

We don't need new powers. We have plenty of those in our existing codex and Biomancy is almost custom built for our codex. As for warlord traits, those tend to be very weak for the most part. A few stand out ones but most of them have little if any impact on the game. I don't mind waiting for the new codex with those.

Scoring and outflanking warlords are both pretty big impact I think, but I otherwise agree.

And those are both Warlord Traits that we have access to. The CSM and DA ones are mostly pretty mediocre.
