Wolf Priest Saga of Hunter
5 Scouts with melta and mark of Wulfen (wg combi melta, mark)
6 Wolf Guard 2 combi melta 2 combi plas 1 combi flamer 2 claw 1 mark of wulfen 1 tda with cyclone
10 Hunters with 2 plasma, mark, standard (wg combi plas)
10 Hunters with 2 plasma, mark, standard (wg combi plas)
10 Hunters with 2 melta, mark, standard (wg comb melta, claw)
10 Blood claws, flamer(wg combi flamer, claw)
6 Long fangs 5 missiles (wg tda cyclone)
6 Long fangs 5 missiles
6 Long fangs 2 plas 3 HB
Totals out dead on 1750 points
Basic plan is that the 2 plasma hunter squads run for mid table with the 2 rune priests and shielded by the blood claws.
3 long fang squads deploy high up near the back, plas HB squad further forward and more central due to 36" range.
Scouts use behind enemy lines and the melta hunters and wolf priest flank.
Bloodclaws shield the hunters advance across the table as the fangs pop transports and take down armour, rune priests throwing out psyker powers as they advance.
Wolf priest and melta hunters flank and roll up hopefully on turn 2, melta a tank or 2 and/or ambush any heavy support units at the rear. Scouts hopefully pop up at the rear of the enemy army andagain got for tanks/heavy support. The 2 wulfen in this unit will give it some nasty rending kick in combat if they get charged or get off the charge.
Hopefully it will be too hard for my opponent to kill 72 marines in the course of a game and they will hopefully be able to kick out enough fire power to take down most enemies.
