Tervigons - How Many Gaunts?

I have had some amazing luck with Terv rolls. One of mine knocked out 80 in a 750pt. game. It was hilarious to see my opponent's face as I spat out half as many points as my starting army and swarmed him. Direct quote "I don't have enough guns.... no-one... has enough guns..."

It largely depends on tactics. I use my termagants to camp and hold objectives while everything else is eating the enemy's faces. This results in my termagants generally having longer than average lifespans so I generally feel the need to have more of the little buggers available to spawn.

I agree with infornography's tactics. In games like The Scouring where there are a lot of objectives there's bound to be one or two on your end of the table, having your tervi pop out a squad right on top of objectives saves your other squads for the fighting.

I do the same as infornography. Use my spawned termagants to camp on objectives while the rest of my swarm gets busy with the stabby.

The real question is, can you ever have TOO many termagants? Lol I have 5 boxes worth and tend to use them all. Though to be fair they are built in two ways, devs and fleshies.

Ive been converting hormagaunts into termagants as I prefer the dynamic models. Been a challenge weighing them down but I nailed it with split fishing weights. Way cheaper than buying terms I might add. Bought close to $120 Canadian worth for about $50 in parts.
