This came up the other day, and we wern't sure exactly how it would affect the Doom of Malan'tai.

Suppose Cataclysm's psyker check fails, and he suffers Perils of the Warp. Does he suffer the D3 wounds from cataclysm, or not?

The exact wording of the skill is as follows:

"After this power has been used, but before any additional Wounds are gained due to the Absorb Life ability, ..."

Whats everyone think?

I might be wrong though and don't have a codex to verify right now.
