Starter 1500 pts list for 6th edition

Hello all I Havnt played much of 6th edition due to a lot of painting. Iv made a starter 1500 list and I intend of building on it when I start playing bigger game


HQ-tervigon with catalyst and scything talons

Elite- 3 hive guard
3 hive guard
3 Zoanthropes

Troops- 20 Hormaguants
20 Hormaguants
20 hormaguants
10 termagaunts
Tervigon - catalyst and talons

Fast- 20 gargoyles

Heavy- 3 biovore

My main opponent is IG and he normally brings a lot of Tanks
Let me no your thoughts I'm very open to suggestions thank you.

I really need to look into a Tervigon, I still use a Flyrant for my HQ but it works with my assault heavy fast moving army. Anyway it looks good, what weapons on the gaunts?

I thought about a flyrant ppl have told me they have had a lot of good results with them. Just naked guants. I just think tervs being able to give units FnP and spawn more is too good to pass up.

I would drop one Biovore for a Pod to put the Zoans in. He will know the threat they pose to his army and will blast them to bits on turn 1. Also, 3 Biovores in a brood can be troublesome past the first couple turns because once you close in are you really going to wanna scatter 3 large templates around? Very liable to blast yourself as 3 large barrages can reach a long ways even off the initial hit.
