Genestealer's are really not worth it this edition. They're expensive and rarely make it into combat. Ymgarls are yummy though.

I like the Broodlords as much as most people dislike them. Definitely good for OM spam or biomancy spam.

Lordofthebrood is right though, stealers are just too squishy this edition.
Your second list with the 2 Flyrants definitely takes advantage of the FMC rules that we've been lucky to get this edition.

I personally would make a hybrid of list 2 and list 3 keeping the Flyrants, tervigons and doom. After that everything else is just preference.

Agreed with roxor. To make a competitive list nowadays we 'Nids have very few options :/

Classic 'meta' Tyranids involve some combination of Flyrants, Tervigons, The Doom, Ymgarls and Hive Guard.

Looks pretty solid to me. Just try and hide the Flyrants turn 1 if you need to.

I would suggest to use the twin linked deathspitters over the cluster spines on the mycetic spores though. You'll get more hits on average, plus you're gaining an AP penetration value for any Xenia you'll encounter.

As jabberwocky said, you'll jus need to play conservatively first turn with your Flyrants to ensure their survival....that is unless you know you're going to be going first, then start them in the open as close as possible to the enemy and make it rain on the first turn.

I am currently unconvinced that the crushing claws on the Tervigon is worth the investment, because you can afford a hive guard with those points, but in your case I'd keep with them. I only mention that because if you had a brood of 1-2 already that needed filling out, you could retrieve the points there.

With those thoughts said, I like your list otherwise!
