I'd like some ideas on the cheeziest most broken kill teams that tyranids can offer. The kind that makes your friends hate you.
The rules I need to follow are as follows:
200 pts limit
FOC limits = 0-1 Elite, 0-2 Troops, 0-1 Fast Attack
All models act as independent units
Up to 3 models may be chosen as 'specialists' and can be given 1 special rule max each, from the rulebook special rules section.
Here are 3 of my top ideas
Kill Team 1
10 Termagants
1 Hive Guard [Shrouded]
1 Hive Guard [Stealth]
1 Hive Guard [Twin-Linked]
Strategy - Basically play hide and seek with the hive guard in cover and the gaunts far behind them where they can't take damage. In case of a landspeeder I'll run up the 2 hive guards with cover bonuses to take it out.
Kill Team 2
4 Genestealers (Toxin Sacs)
1 Genestealer(Toxin Sacs) [Stealth]
1 Broodlord (Toxin Sacs) [It Will Not Die]
1 Hive Guard [Shrouded]
Strategy - One virtually unkillable hive guard to chase down vehicles from behind cover, genestealers with poison and a broodlord that can hopefully get to abuse it will not die, since i wanted a special rule to grant him protection.
Kill Team 3
1 Doom of Malantai [Eternal Warrior]
1 Tyranid Warrior w/Deathspitter ; Scything Talons [Smash]
1 Tyranid Warrior w/Deathspitter ; Scything Talons [Shrouded]
1 Tyranid Warrior w/Deathspitter ; Scything Talons
Strategy - I was considering infiltrate on the doom to get it that much closer and perhaps flank the enemy, but eternal warrior just screams out 'use me' with him. Specially considering that I can expect some kind of S8+ in enemy kill teams. The Warriors are there to support the doom's advance
