This is the list so far
Dakka flyrant-OA-HC-TS
Dakka flyrant-OA-TS
10-termgaunts 10-termgaunts
Terv-PS Terv-PS
3 biovore 3 biovore
3 zopes+pod 3 zopes+pod THE DOOM!!+pod
There is almost a 100 points left over to play around with. I love the idea of biovores due to the meta switching over to less Mech and more foot. Plus they can SNIPE on hits. That's awesome! Zopes can deal with any mech that does come around.
Please feel free to pick it apart and considerations for my spare points.

Hive Guard or Y-stealers instead of Zoanthropes maybe?
This army doesn't seem like it has too much hitting power. It isn't going to overwhelm the opponent in any phase. Not a swarm, not close combat, not super shooty, etc... What's the game plan to win the game?

It does have hitting power though! Biovores are amazing at blowing away infantry. Possibly sniping characters. Zopes in pods can demolish any armored units or tossing out enfeebles. The tyrants can swoop around blowing away pretty much what ever they so choose after turn 2. Keeping them in cover for the first round while I wait for the pods to drop. Terms pooping out gaunts are great for camping objectives. And the doom is a great distraction unit.

I'd try it out. Sounds like a really fun and dynamic list, Ericdw. Your plan may not be the safest, but I'm sure you will have a blast fielding all those fantastic units. Let us know if you battle with it, and post a report.

I would run 1 brood of Zoans on foot with the rest of the army and roll for support powers, could/will really save the day for your Biovores/Tervigon. I'd also drop TS on the Flyrants, they do more damage shooting than assaulting so you don't really want them assaulting unless it's a vehicle, in which case TS does nothing anyhow. Combine the Termagants into one huge blob. With HC you'll either outflank a Tervigon which will leave 1 Tervigon with 2 small broods to babysit, or outflank 10 Termagants in which case you can't expect anything good to happen. Use the 60 points for either more Termagants or to beef up the Tervigons with extra psychic powers.

OK, so I played with the points and came out to exactly 2k on the dot. When I look at this list I think its major anti infantry with all the blasts from the Biovores and the dakka tyrants. I wanted the list to be able to be good against what ever it faces. And as for so many Zopes, I had redundancy in mind and really wanted them to be able to just blow up tanks and skimmers and the like on the first try. I'm still building the army and buying the models so I cant battle test it just yet that's why I'm asking for as much critique as possible. what would you do playing against this list maybe? I know I don't want to lose the tyrants or THE DOOM!. btw here is the new list
Hive Tyrant-wings-2x devs-OA-HC 310pnts
Hive Tyrant-wings-2x devs-OA 285pnts
=Troops= 15 Termagaunts 75pnts 14 Termagaunts 70pnts
Tervigon-AG-TS-3 psy powers 210pnts Tervigon-AG-TS-3 psy powers 210pnts
=Elites= THE DOOM!+Pod 130pnts 3 Zopes+Pod 220pnts 3 Zopes+Pod 220pnts
=Heavy Support= 3 Biovore 135pnts 3 Biovore 135pnts

If you're podding all the Zoans in, having 2 squads of Termagants won't pan out well. What do you plan on outflanking? Outflanking a medium sized brood of Termagants isn't likely to go over well and there's no reason to have 2 broods with one Tervigon as they'll be restricted by their synapse leash. If you had some Zoans in the backfield then 2 broods would make sense, but as things stand you're just making for an easier first blood target. You should really plan ahead for synapse, with your list 5/6 of your synapse will be on the enemies side quickly and your 4 units that actually need synapse will all have to huddle around the one available synapse unit on your side. That is very much asking for trouble. Don't think that other 2k armies won't hbe able to focus fire a single Tervigon to death in a single turn, in which case your all your Biovores and Termagants start failing their ld6 tests and your army scatters to the wind and you find yourself scrambling synapse units back to your side while your army gets disassembled. You have hitting power but your list is dangling by a thread that any smart player will exploit quickly and sink your army. A shooty army could easily force a crucial chunk of your army off the table in the first turn before your DSing units have a chance to even distract them.

I never thought about that! That's a great point. And this is why I came here! Ill have to rethink some of the list then.

You could drop one zoan brood to 2 footslogging Zoans and roll support powers for them, this will really strengthen your troopswith added support powers to toss on your Termagants/Tervigon and increase synapse for flexibility in movement and safety. Then use the extra 100 points for 2 Hiveguard so you don't lose AT power, you'll just trade some anti-AV14 power for more reliable sub-AV14 power. Unless you happen to face multiple Land Raiders/Monoliths in games commonly you'll actually be better off in the AT department too. Another thing to consider, if you are planning on outflanking a Tervigon perhaps you should get it Crushing Claws and make it a more offensive build than the backfield one.

ok i was thinking that the former list is more of a DS Null Deployment idea and i want to modify that list to not include biovores cause i feel they dont add any synergy instead to fit in with my biovores i have come up with this at exactly 2000 pnts.
==HQ==
2x Flyrant-2x TL Devs- OA- One is warlord and both rolling for biomancy powers
==troops==
11 termies 10 termies
Tervi-3 psy powers- TS Tervi-3 psy powers- TS
==Elites==
THE DOOM!+Pod
==Heavy support==
3 Carnis- HVC-BS
2 Biovore 2 Biovore
Thats the list tell me if you think it fits better with the biovores. I figure the army wont really have to move around allot and any moving that has to be done can be taken up by the the hive tyrants. It gives allot of targets for my opponents to try and fire at too. If i had to i was thinking about even dropping a carni for a a small group of warriors or zoeys for some extra synapse?

HVC are awful. They can no longer pen-wreck due to changes in the vehicle dage chart, so the best you can hope for is a hp here or there, maybe a couple of Necron Warriors. Do not use. STC is pretty mediocre for a Carnifex. Handfules of GEQ is hardly befitting a Carnifex and that's about all you kill with a STC. If you want pie plates use Biovores.
Sadly, there is a reason you only see Dakkafexen typically. Devourers are the only option on Carnifexen that are worth it. You'll do more damage to really any target than a HVC/ST would, can shoot at flyers, can pen-wreck and can glance vehicles to death in one salvo.
If you aren't using Hive Commander, then 2 backfield Tervigons is pretty solid synapse.

I wasn't thinking about flyers and with devs on the fexes can be a great asset. Anything that has 36 dice thrown at it is gonna cry.

I liked this list:
==HQ==
2x Flyrant-2x TL Devs- OA- One is warlord and both rolling for biomancy powers
==troops==
11 termies 10 termies
Tervi-3 psy powers- TS Tervi-3 psy powers- TS
==Elites==
THE DOOM!+Pod
==Heavy support==
3 Carnis- HVC-BS
2 Biovore 2 Biovore
Few changes, first way too few Gaunts I'd run the 2 units as 20 minimum, 10 is way too easy to kill. There is 2 easy VP that you have to find a way to claim back, 20 in each takes more effort. Many a time I've had 1 or 2 Gaunts left from a squad like that, which the enemy forgets about, then you either hide them or jump on objective end game. NOTHING worst than 2 Gaunts Claiming/Contesting an objective turn 6, opponents feel stupid for forgetting them.
Already mentioned HVC are chod! Fexes it's either Dakka or Screamer Killer. I'd drop them all in favour of more Gaunts and Zoanthropes.
For the Biovores why would you run 2? 3 gives you Barrage, which means less scattering off target and horrific damages if Hit dice comes up. Biovores are becoming my go to unit killers these days, they are awesome! I find 2 units a bit much, unless your gaming crowd uses mostly Xenos and Guard, power armour their less effective. 1 unit of 3 is more balanced.
With the remaining points consider a Tyrgon or 2 if you can, you present the opponent with 5 or 6 MC, which is daunting prospect and you can expect to see 3 to 4 reach your opponent. Or put Zoanthropes in pods back in, they are your Anti-Tank, which if that close they'll do, plus I like them, and from your first list I think you do to.

So what's do you guys think? I put the gants in pods and gave them devs. the pods stop them from being shot to bits first turn and i can plop them infront of squishy things or far away objectives and the like. are they a waste of time or is it a solid idea? at 3 shots a peice they can really toss out some pain. or even better they cplop down behind a tank and glance it to death. am i on the right track here?
Oh and your very right Hive I do LOVE zoeys!
