Tyranids - 1500 Points

I've been trying to come up with some Tyranids 1500 Points armies and based on my current list I've managed to come up with:-

Tyrant
Wings, 2xtwin-devs, paroxysm, leech essence, warlord.

Tyrant
2xTwin-devs, paroxysm, leech essence.

3 Zoanthropes

3 Hive Guard

10 Termagants

10 Termagants

Tervigon
Adrenal glands, toxin sacs, catalyst, onslaught, dominion, stinger salvo.

Tervigon
Adrenal glands, toxin sacs, catalyst, onslaught, dominion, stinger salvo.

Carnifex
2xTwin-devs.


But I'm thinking of maybe:- Running a 2nd flyrant, running a 3rd Tervigon and dropping the Fex& 1 or 2 Thropes/Hive Guard. But yeah I'm still unsure planning for Throne of Skulls so I'm open to ideas as to what people think are best.

I think it's gunna come down to how many flyers you face.

At tournie level, I expect you'll see a few, so maybe go with the 2nd flyrant. You also have stronger scoring with the extra Terv.

Cheers dude, at 1500 3 Tervigons maybe better for the gaunt spammage, it allows me to focus on that strategy a bit more whereas 1 Fex would seem a bit out of place I guess, so a list as follows might be good:-

Total is 1500 on the nose, it feels a bit too close to N.I.B's army though so I would feel a tiny bit guilty



or alternatively I can go for Devourer heavy

Total = 1490.


Which sure will put out alot of firepower, but lacks scoring units and 4/6 of the missions are heavy scoring so that is kinda important.

Which I think maybe slightly better drop it down to 2 Zoanthropes in favour of a 2nd flyrant, sticking with the Carnifex for those extra 12 twin-linked strength 6 shots maybe very handy.


I'm still not sure though lol, 1500 Points makes me so indecisive! 1000 Points and 1750 POints I know for sure what I wish to field, but 1500 points you really have to think
