Anyone playing Planetside 2?

Planetside 2 has just been released on Steam and is free to play. So far it's awesome IMHO.

Is anyone from the hive playing it?

I play it, kind of leaning toward VS due to lasers, no bullet drop for sniper and semi auto snipers!!!!!

I'm New Conglomerate, the semi-auto snipers from the VS are nasty alright!

Planetside 2 is like a futuristic battlefield 3 on a stupidly large scale. The battles can be incredible. Check out the website you can see what it's like there.

Tried it out with two class mates, pretty fun even if I have no clue what's going on.

Flying around in Terran Liberators all day.

TR is OP, everyone but TR says it. Hell TR are abusing the OP air system too. AA is pointless and Air owns all, not playing till they nerf, boost and balance that...

To me they're just different colours, so I can't verify or confirm this.

The Red guys are OP especially with air. Rocket pods can take out an AA gun easily with them still having over 50% health. And The Red guys only do massive air and tank attacks. Oh yeah, for doing small dmg but shooting faster their guns are slightly op on that too, and their tanks fire two rounds and are more accurate so...funny because no dev is on TR side lol

Yeah I agree, the number of times I've gone toe to toe with Ts and lost is silly.

My flying skills are rubbish so I can't say much about dogfighting.

The TS being overpowered doesn't bother me. Just more of a challenge to take the feckers out. I suppose it's the same attitude that has me sticking with the 'nids for so long.

I'm sticking with the NC as I played NC in planetside 1. I stopped playing after the Giant robots came in, they ruined the game for me.

I Like NC vehicles and guns, but VS has lasers and no bullet drop and semi auto rifles....
