...and assuming your army was already in perfect balance, what would you use the points on? Ideally a centrepiece conversion, like the Parasite or a Harpy, but smaller models or swarm suggestions welcome too. Just interested is all!

You could put down a carnifex with no upgrades for that. Or 5 warriors with devourers and a barbed strangler. Or 32 termagants/26 gargoyles/26 hormagaunts. Man, I love Tyranids. Too many cool things to choose from

Deathleaper or a Harpy--either will make your opponent pee their pants a little. If your army is in perfect balance I would suggest either of these, especially since you are looking for a single figure that you would enjoy converting and fielding just for fun.
