Helping a Puppy survive

We have been raising money to get our 4yr jack russell terrier surgery to remove an infected toe that has caused her a great deal of pain and threatens her health. As we could not afford the surgery we look to other to donate what ever they could. So far we have raised enough to have the surgery and she made it through, but now we have to look at the post surgery costs. If you could afford to put up $5 dollars, that in itself would help out so much. Just need to raise $400 more. This also will help us in bringing home the remains of my fiance's old friend, one she misses with all her heart.

I'm a broke college student, so sadly I can't help you. But I own 3 dogs and one of them is a Jack Russel/Dachshund mix, and she actually looks a lot like your pup, which tugs at my heart, because my puppy, Bella, is a spoiled little princess. I feel for you, and I wish the best for you and your pup. Having grown up with dogs, I've had to go through a lot of medical stuff ranging from hip displacia, torn cruciates, and even terminal cancer... my heart goes out to you and Zoey.

Gah. Tugs at my heartstrings.

I work in a vets' surgery, so I see this sort of thing all the time - animals with terminal illnesses, people in tears after their pet was put to sleep. I guess I'm sort of numb to it now.

But either way, if I could donate, I would. But I have no money at the moment, and I don't think my card works on that sort of thing.

A very sad story. I hope you get the money.

Another thing I see in the vets' is the happiness an animal can bring, and I still doubt that animals are just there to get food. I think animals can love. And they certainly receive love in return. Good luck.
