Okay, after many years of being out of the MTG scene, it looks like I am going to be dragged back in...

Found out some friends of mine have a pretty good group that meets 2-3 times a month. They are playing a modified version of Vintage, so I have a *lot* of cards to draw from that I don't know about. (They allow proxy for testing, if you might actually buy the card, so no Black Lotus etc.)

Gatherer has been a great resource for looking up cards, but I want a good resource for building decks. Ideally, the site/program would have a good search; and then a mechanism that allows me to put that card into a list/deck.

My issue, is that while looking up cards for Deck A, I find a card for Deck B. So I need a way of adding that to my Deck B list. Similarly, I sometimes find cards I just want to remember for later, so I need to put them into Deck Z for later review.

Any suggestions on deck building sites?

Well, how about good places to get cards. I am not overly concerned about their condition.

tcgplayer.com is the best spot for buying cards I found. It shows the lowest prices for cards from various stores around the country. It also has some pretty good articles on various decks (though they do focus on the standard format)

Im in the same spot as you coredump. A group of freinds I play pathfinder with at school has recently started bringing their magic cards to play before the game (we usually start pathfinder at 7pm but we are all there for a few hours before). I have an old magic deck I made 9 years ago but I doubt it is still usable so I might just need to get some new cards depending on how much the game has changed in just under a decade.
