Playing apoc - what psychic powers to choose?

I will be playing in a big apocalypse battle tomorrow, Nov 10. There will be a lot of imperials and chaos fighting each other as well as against the tyranid players. This will also be my first 6th ed game, so I am unfamiliar with the new powers.

The thing is that we are allowed to choose our psychic powers instead of rolling on the tables. I will be bringing around 6000 points and my psychic characters will be 2 armored shell tyrants, each with tyrant guard. Both have old adversary. I will also have 3 individual zoanthropes and one broodlord.

I figure for the hive tyrants I want to take biomancy for iron arm for the ID immunity and other than that I was thinking about taking the witchfire spell that gives you wounds back.

For the other psykers, I have no idea. Any suggestions?

No tervigons at 6k?! seems criminal to me... anywho, choosing powers... the zoans I would let maybe do a mix? double iron arm and endurance? Broodlord should maybe do either Iron Arm(better S/T in challenges is brutal) or Warpspeed(though the onlt benefit there is attacks), all the other powers are mostly meh

I haven't played 40k in a while at least since the tervigon kits were released. Although I do have bits to construct a tervigon, I have yet to actually convert one.

In any event, I would find it difficult to spawn termigants because they will have Without Number.

What do you think of zoans? Would it make sense to go telepathy for Puppet Master and either Shriek or terrify? Or to go buffing with either Telekine Dome or the FNP biomancy?

Having just raved about Zoans on the other thread, it won't surprise you to hear that I say keep them in, and keep them natural! Lance is golden against Super-Heavies, as are Invulnerable Saves.

Iron Arm is an obvious first choice for any aggressor model, Check out what Crushing claws do: Note that it has been FAQd that for Smash Attacks you halve the BASIC attacks, THEN add the D3 for claws, so even if Iron Arm fizzles, you still get lots of S10 attacks.

I would then complement every Psyker with a good reliable shooting attack, but without the book handy I can't remember what they are!

OM will help deal with flyer squadrons and high AV vehicles. Might be worthwhile alongside Iron Arms.

All of the powers are cool, until your opponent drops a D-Strength weapon on your MC and it vaporizes... I keep all of my MCs with codex powers since they usually don't live long enough to use their powers that much.

I designed a Gargantuan Creature (Dominatrix based) that is my Apocalypse Psyker since it can't be Instant Killed by opposing Super Heavies.

I ended up going standard for the Zoanthropes and taking Iron Arms/FNP-Regenerate for the broodlord and hive tyrants. I ended up never getting hit with Strength D weapons at all (!), which was one reason to take Iron Arms (Eternal warrior, boom).

Although I lost a perfectly healthy hive tyrant to a vortex grenade template that had been warping around the area for both sides of 3 turns. This was at the beginning of my turn when he was going to charge a land raider

The other tyrant charged a bloodthirster and sort of got annihilated. Iron arms had only given me +1 that turn

Side note though, when raveners can get into combat, they nom stuff good. 8 of them killed 15 plaguebearers and 15 bloodletters + skulltaker. To be fair, the plaguebearers charged into combat when the bloodletters were at 5 models.

Oh yeah, and the Broodlord basically cast the FNP/regeneration on my barbed hierodule every turn
