first chaos army , suggestions

My idea is spam FNP, I know at 1000 its hard to spam anything but my understanding of the rules i would have 27 models with fnp, (if chaos lord joins noise marines he should benefit from icon of excess)

the Slaanesh Lord and noise marines run in the land raider and try to hunt down the opposing power house, using murder sword to assassinate enemy hq

zombies march up absorbing fire and trying to tar pit enemy units, for either typhus to attack or the Slaanesh unit.

Forge fiend and Land raider shoot mech


also i have all the models except for the forge fiend

not too bad for 1000pts, personally I think you can do without the cultitsts and typhus. get more of those noise marines they will last much longer then FNP zombies. either that or put those zombies into one squad of 20. anything to make them last longer.

my understanding of the rules is you cant modify the cultist if they are zombies, it says they cant purchase options, sadly in my opinion adding models is purchasing an option, as for dropping typhus and zombies that gives my a lil over 300 points so i could add two more noise marine squads, not sure if id have the points to get a rhino in that or not

look at the new GW Faq, they fixed it so you can add zombies to make up to 35 model units of them

If you're going to take cc-noise marines, try and free up 15 points for a Doom Siren. It's an absolute Marine killer.
Also, when you attack with a relative low number of models (from a vehicle), the dirge caster is a very nice option, as it denies your target overwatch.
