After final exams but before Christmas (about end of this month/begining of next). Mostly doing it for the 6th edition feel at an event. the club's not sure about 1,750 or 2,000 so instead os studying I've written a list for both (green is what is changed for the 2,000 point list)
HQ
Hive Tyrant = 285
2 twin Linked Devours with Brain leach worms, Old Adversary, Wings, Paroxysm, Telepathy
2 Malanthropes = 220
Elite
3 Hiveguard = 150
3 Zoanthropes = 180
Warp Lance, Telekinesis
Troops
(troops) Tervigon = 210
Crushing Claws, Toxin sacs, Catalyst, Biomancy
20 Termigants = 100
Fleshborers
19 (20) Termigants = 95 (100)
Fleshborers
3 Warriors = 100 (115)
3 Scything Talons, 2 Rending Claws, 1 Barbes Strangler, Toxin Sacs
10 Homagaunts = 80
Toxin Sacs
Fast Attack[/ur]
3 meiotic Spores =105
3 Shrikes = 150
Scything Talons, Boneswords & Lashwhips
Heavy Support
3 Biovores = 135
Carniifex = 190 (195)
2 twin Linked Devours with Brain leach worms
Stone Crusher
I like messing with the opponent's target priority so that's why the diversity of models (that and I'm an impulsive shopper who thinks aesthetics first and list later). The Hormagaunts and the Carnifex spearhead the with the Carnifex giving fire cover to the hormagaunts and the hormagaunts obstructing the Carnifex. I swap the carnifexes ranged power for durability in higher point games. The Zoanthropes and Hiveguard back up the Termigant broods, which are often large enough to be in range of the Tervigon, and provide anti armour support. The fast attack are used as gun line breakers which are annoyingly increasing. The Malanthropes are the underestimated mini Trygons which may not be very tough in comparason to other monstrous creatures but their fleeting speed takes some people by surprize. They take the place of the Hive Tyrant in higher games of aiming the Hormagaunts and Carnifex, the new smash rules make up for their strength. Hive Tyrant is nice an offensive anti air which can take on most targets, made him a telepath to troll people. Warriors are there for ranged support, deployment zone objective taking and back field synapse to catch units falling back. The also stop the Biovores from shooting at stupid things to shoot at. I gave them rending claws because they're cheap and I don't want them being combat-tie-up-able and if people tried they still wouldn't be wasted. I don't have too much flexibility due to these being many of the models I have access to.
Local lists that have had a nasty reputation in the turn of the edition.
Dark eldar
Archon with husk blade, a shadow shield thing and other magic-wagic-wibbly-wobbly stuff, hangs out with his true born buddies.
3 x 4 blaster Trueborn in a venom with 2 splinter cannons
5 x 5 blaster Kabalites in a venom with 2 splinter cannons
3 Ravenwing Jets
Necrons
Trollzan the infinite
5 Lych guards with shields in a night scythe
3-5 (He changes to experiment with fast attack choices) x 5 necron warriors in more mother @#$%&ng night sycthes
An analialation bar- I'm just kidding, 3 doom scythes.
Sometimes there's cynoptic wraiths or destroyers or tomb blades or cynoptic scarabs but I stop caring when my hiveguard and carnifex are firing snap shots at super duper tesla gun.
Tau/Eldar Corsair list
It's a weird list by a good friend of mine but it wins lots of games and his posting it online later today and said he'd send me the link to the site where he's going to post it.
