What weird stuff has happened to you?

C'mon hive, share any weird things that have happened to or around you that you cant explain.


I'l start off:
I have a bunch of big scars across my chest that I have no idea how I got, I don't remember ever getting them, but i havent had them since birth and I've never had surgery or anything like that :S

This one time at band camp....

No but seriously, I wake up with bruises about midway up my forearms(same place, underside of each arm) 9/10 times I drink alcohol. My doctor thinks it's an odd side effect of medications I take, but no one has been able to really identify why this happens and I know for a fact that there have been spans I've been medication free and still have the bruises appear.

That's gone on for.......about 5 years now. No real pain or anything, no visible cardiac problems, no issues with blood clotting, scarring or anything else. I mean I have a few small scars here and there, but I've had plenty of larger injuries that healed up just fine.

It started my freshman year of college so I used to joke that when I drink my roommate beats me lolz.

Edit: it may have started before then, but I never really drank before college(I mean I did a handful of times, but too few times to have noticed this *as no one should drink under the legal drinking age in their respective country*- if you wanna argue the legal drinking age is BS that's a horse of another color I'm willing to hop on).

To find VERY Christian Christians is somewhat rare but that very few is in a tight knit community of evangelists who people listen to for the same reason they watch painful looking videos on Youtube. Anyways, about 18 months ago now I was at the shops with some friends and that very group came in like Hare Krishnas waving around panthlets about creationism and the healing power of Jesus Christ. One decided to demonstrate these awesome powers and plucked me out of my chair and planted me on my feet. It actually felt good - well with as much sensation I can 'feel' below my waist - to be on my two feet and standing 5'10" again. In fact it was almost blissful! The word surreal is often misused but it wouldn't have been here. This, of course, immediately ended when he took his hands away from my shoulders and not-weight-bearing me collapsed to the ground like a puppet whose strings were severed. They called me an atheist with no faith, which I guess is true.

It was a really odd expirience that day ending with not much else to speak of other than bruises on my forearms and no chages pressed

And I don't know how but I broke my right foot twice and almost broke it a third time. I can now turn it nearly a complete 180.

I blow out streetlights. When I'm in an extreme mood, whether positive or negative, streetlights often burn out exactly as I walk underneath them. I've almost never seen a streetlight burn out any other time than when I'm directly under it. Once or twice, maybe. Sometimes it also happens with regular lights in stores or restaurants or people's houses or wherever, but usually it's streetlights.

One time in a supermarket I mumbled the lines "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down" from that infamous Rick Astley song under my breath while browsing the shelves. It's important to note that it was barely audible and the supermarket was loud and bustling. But no sooner had I finished when I heard, from the opposite side of the floor -and it was a big floor- someone cry out "Never gonna run around and desert you!" at the top of their lungs. When I turned around the person had either vanished or just continued acting normal. It was a silly but at the same time bizarre experience.

Almost every dream I have had that I can remember has happened within the next two days. for example I had a dream my grandmother had a heart attack and two days later it has happened.

also during the day I will randomly think of a conversation or random event and It happens later, It freaks me out.

Yeah i have them on my back too but weirdly they look more like stretch marks, the ones on my chest look like deep visible cuts.

When i wake up i have loads of bruises on my torso, but i think this may be heat rash or something similar :/

I almost never look at the clock. But when I do, just from a hunch, it's 13:37. Every time. In the beginning it was kind of fun, but now it freaks me out.

That's really weird, but i've heard of that sort of thing before, go and google "noetic science" maybe that helps
