Ok, I know that a flyrant in a 1K game is a bit much, but this is my first game of the 6th Ed and I have a 2K game planned for a few weeks time. So this is really about me getting in to the new rules, hence I wanted to include a flyer and some psykers etc.
So, I am facing Blood Angels so I expect his Death Company, some Assault Marines and likely a couple of tanks for example. Maybe a dread.
What I have usually ran which he will likely expect is genestealers, a tervigon + gaunts and a prime and and a Trygon. More centered around CC.
While I would like more troops in this list, it would really come from having a prime and saving points but not this time. So, this is my idea, input most welcome!

Hive Tyrant + Wings + 2 x TLD
= ELITES =
2 x Hive Guard
= TROOPS =
10 x Gaunts (basic)
1 x Tervigon + TS (unsure if AG are still worth taking?)
= HEAVY =
2 x Dakkafex
What Im thinking is to keep the 2 x fex's at the front and advance shooting. They will swap position if wounds get low. This will protect the tervigon behind them and the gaunts. If I roll a double I might move the tervigon in front to take some wounds and save the fex's as well. If they all get low Ill move the gaunts in front. Or I could keep them in front anyway as a shield as unlikely to be targetted.
The Flyrant will make a pest of himself swooping and likely draw a lot of fire. I can decide if I should drop him in to the death company or wait until the other get closer etc.
The Hive Guard would stay near the tervigon in some kind of cover and shoot through with the first target being any vehicle.
For his armour, a Baal preditor is front 13 side 12 and I think others are 12 front 11 side. So I need ideally S7 for glancing. This means the Hive Guard Cannons really, though TLDs have S6, handy if I get the flyer side on.
