I will be doing my reports in a narrative form from this thread, this is to make it more interesting. 
I will post the results of the campaign every Tuesday.
I am doing this because people here have requested battle reports, and this would be fun for me to do as well.
I am having trouble uploading the map, so whenever I figure that out I will up load it.
Tanarus is a world of peace, where imperial citizens have known no war for
decades. Now a well guarded secret has been let loose and all the known races have come for a chance to seize this peaceful world. Among the races that contest for this world, Hive fleet Charybdis has come with nothing but the intent to devour every living soul, as well as the entire planets ecosystem.
Planetfall:
It was a day like any other, the skies were blue, and the sun was shinning. The cities were busy with activity, children were playing in the lush green fields of their families farms, and the local wild life went about its day to day business. Everything was as it should be, except for one problem. The local imperial government had noticed that imperial supply ships had not come for weeks, and their communications had been cut abruptly. So, the Imperial governor had sent what little ships they had out to give a message to the Imperium.
This message was a plead for help, since they were not receiving their scheduled supplies and for the fact they were not able to communicate normally. As the ships were preparing for their expedition, the sky had turned black with clouds whirling about in the sky. Every citizen of Tanarus looked up to the blackish sky terrified, and for good reason to. They saw shapes dropping out of the sky, and winged beasts descending from the sky. In one such city Terion, the citizens began to run and scream in fear as a pod like object came crashing into the midst of the city.
As the dust had settled some brave citizens came close to the strange life like pod to investigate. No sooner then the first of the citizens came near, a tentacle wrapped around a terrified man and lifted him high into one of the pods many stench filled maws. The citizens tried to flee after that but were torn apart by what came bursting forth from the pod. Little worm like organisms came rushing out into the streets, overwhelming unfortunate souls. More hideous creature came forth from the pod and made their way into Terion, in search of more prey to devour. As the terrified citizens ran for their lives, the local militia tried to make its stand near the edge of the city hoping to drive back its hostile invaders.
Barricades were erected, weapon platforms set, and guardsmen set about in their positions. As they waited, they saw what it was that was coming for them. Waves upon waves of bug like creatures with alien like weapons, sharp bloodied talons and claws. The guardsmen became nervous, and some even attempted to flee, but were gunned down by their superiors. Each side became focused on one another and soon the outcome would become clear, either for good or ill of the citizens of Terion.
