Who wants to draw a Tervigongon?

Tervigons have to come from somewhere. Who wants to draw a Tervigongon, a creature that spawns 2D6 Tervigons each turn?

From what fluff I've been able to find she pretty much samples/adjusts/adapts her forces during planetary assaults to overcome what is slowing down the army. She leads the entire planetary army from the surface and can spawn units of everything to help. In game terms she could actually spawn up to three carnifex (at a time) during games.

Dominatrix could never spawn anything. You are correct that it was a planetary commander but spawning units is a incarnation of the 5th codex. Prior to 5th, gaunts burrowed and layed eggs. Larger creatures have birthing chambers on the back line or are dropped in from orbit and supplied biomass by rippers+capillary towers.

Spawning creatures on the battlefield never made any tactical sense, and less sense here. It always bordered between the "rule of cool" and being simply silly. This is just silly.

Just FYI, hormogaunts still lay eggs under the surface, and I have no problems with a Tervigon spawning tgants, but something that poops Tervigons on the field is definintely too much. I think a more advanced bioform requires hive ship type resources.

Unless the Tervigon's (please do not swear) is in it's sternum, it's not actually pooping them out.

The evolution of the tervigon stemmed from encountering transports on the battlefield. Tyranids adapt, even from 4th edition.

We dont need a Tervigongon, we need a Horvigon... +20 points, considering you wont even get 20 new models half the time, and theyre a 1 point difference each, makes about as much sense. Why not spawn Hormagaunts?

No purpose in fluff? The tervigons are patrolling the hive ships while other tyranids lay dormant. There's no reason to let dozens of termies run around the ships, so tervigons are keeping them dormant for quick spawning in case of a threat. Then awakening more bugs with its synaptic link while the enemy is occupied with the gaunts.
I'd say they serve a pretty big purpose in fluff.

I'm just gonna ask a sily question:
In the Tervi's description, the gants in her belly are in near-life stages, right?
So what if the gants she's carrying were either eggs laid inside by previous gants or even a group that crawled inside for protection / to be brought forth when they were needed?

I don't think it mentions the tervigon being the actual mother of them, so why not? just some weird mating thing that we have no real understanding of.
