Well 6ed has opened up some new opportunities for Nids. I think it may be time to revisit the old Mawloc lists. I'm not going to debate Mawlocs vs flyers. Until FAQed, it works by RAW. So we do have anti-flyer defense in the list.
-Deathleaper 6ed-
HQ: 235
1 Tervigon (Stinger Salvo; Crushing Claws; Adrenal Glands; Toxin Sacs; 3* Biomancy)
Elite: 205
1 Deathleaper
1 Venomthrope
Troop: 520
1 Tervigon (Stinger Salvo; Adrenal Glands; Toxin Sacs; 3* Biomancy)

Heavy Support: 540
1 Trygon

My thinking is simple. I want units that do damage and are durable. In fact the most questionable unit might be the Trygon - not the Leaper. I have the ability to contest or take objectives ... you can spawn 30-50 gants a game. Biomancy has made Tervigons quite scary as you will get some useful powers. Thankfully it is not hard to get at least 5+ cover saves for MCs now too. Itis not a complicated list at all. Mawlocs have their drawbacks i know - poor cc performers albeit durable, can be downred by krak /melta grenades, may only see action for three game turns. But in this list they work well.
There is a noticeable lack of HG. AT 1750-1850, you should add three and an Venomthrope - if you do not want Ymgarls (which might in fact be better). Now I have not tested this in 6ed. There are those that might recall that I played this list extensively in 5ed - with less tervigons and stealers. But I'm not a stealer fan in 6ed. We had a thread on Lictors and Deathleapers that explored this extensively in 6ed with quite a few battle reports.
So the above is strictly hypothetical and theory crafting for the moment. I have no data to support it other than past experiences and some math hammer that says it should work well. On paper, lol.
