Hi, I wanted to try to make a Vassal battle report. It's a friendly game, and you probably won't learn any genius tactics. If you like it, I may make some more in the future!

We roll dice to set up the battle.
Mission: The Emperor's Will
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil
Space Wolf wins both roll offs and chooses left side and deploys first. He uses his Night Attacker Trait to get Night in the first turn.
Turn 1
Space Wolves race across the board to destroy the Tyranids.
Tyranids lurk, setting up their trap.
Space Wolves Turn 2
Space Wolves advanced further and open fire. A brood of termagants is wiped out, resulting in First Blood for the Wolves.
Tyranids Turn 2
The Tyranids spring their trap as two Trygons burst up from the ground and a Mycetic Spore splats down on the ground, revealing the Doom of Malan'tai!
The Tyranids advance to assist them.
Both Lone Wolves, and the Iron Priest die.
Freshly spawned Termagants assault Lukas and the Blood Claws but take heavy casualties.
Space Wolves Turn 3
The Space Wolves react to the trap with heavy firepower.
Both Trygons are heavily wounded, and the Mycetic Spore dies.
The Doom of Malan'tai has 10 wounds, but suffers instant death to a Long Fang Lascannon!
Tyranid Turn 3 (aka. the most terrible assault phase ever)
With Preferred Enemy from the Swarmlord, the Hive Guard easily blow up the Razorback.
A Trygon and a brood of Termagants wipe out the Grey Hunter pack.
A Tervigon smashes and destroys the Rhino.
The other Trygon somehow fails miserably in combat with Bjorn and does no damage whatsoever.
But his failure is nothing compared to what the Swarmlord does!
In his ignorance he accepts a challenge from Lukas the Trickster, Lukas dies and takes the Swarmlord with him using Last Laugh!
Oh, the misery!
The Tyrant Guard fights on, enraged by the Swarmlord's death.
Space Wolves Turn 4
Long Fangs avenge the Grey Hunters and kill a Trygon.
Bjorn slays the remaining Trygon, suffering only minor damage himself.
Tyranid Turn 4 (why won't you die, Bjorn?)
The Hive Guard fires at Bjorn, and a Tervigon uses Crush. Unfortunately, he only suffers glancing damage.
Termagants finish off the last Thrall Servitor.
More termagants join the Tyrant Guard in the fight against the Blood Claws.
The Tervigon smashes into Bjorn, but ends up taking 2 wounds himself for no damage on that cursed Dreadnaught!
Turn 5
The Space Wolves fire their remaining weaponry in a desperate attempt to turn the tides.
But it is in vain, as both the Blood Claws and Bjorn the Fell-Handed are finally overwhelmed!
Termagants swarm all over the crushed Bjorn, claiming his corpse.
