My Take on the Tyranid Dominatrix Data Sheet

Played a game this past weekend with this guy. The only model that I had was this Alien vs. Predator model and I needed a 3rd Gargantuan Creature. Here is the Data Sheet that I used.

I wanted it to be a buffing unit as well as a short range shooter/fighter. Comments and Criticisms welcome.

In the game it shrugged off 3 Vortex Grenades, Monolith Shooting and some rail guns. It was down to 5 wounds when the game ended. My Hierophant went down in one round. This thing was on the table for 4 Player turns.

It killed 2 Monoliths, and a 3-4 units of Guardsman/Tanks

The Dominatrix was cool. Giving it FNP helped it save a wound it normally wouldn't. When I designed it, I read all of the older data sheets and tried to create a 6th edition version.

I never got to assault with him because the game ended... But having the D weapon was nice. I deployed him too far away from supporting troops so I didn't get to use his area buffs much.

For 2000 points I feel like it needed some kind of longer range effect. However it took 2 vortex grenades, a whole bunch of Rail guns and drew fire from a whole bunch of units. And it only lost 6 wounds over 2 enemy game turns. It regenerated one of those.

i just bought an alien queen chest burster model for use as a dominatrix. was gunna use fly lords of terra rules. but may have to try these instead
