I played a Battle yesterday with this 1750 list, versus Space Marines/Sisters of Battle (report to follow) and was quite pleased with its performance:

HQ
* Hive Tyrant, Wings, 2x TL Devourer, Old Adversary
* Hive Tyrant, Armoured Shell, 2 x TL Devourer, Old Adversary

Troops
* Tervigon, Cluster Spines, Crushing Claws, Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs, 3 Psychic Powers
* Tervigon, Cluster Spines, Crushing Claws, Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs, 3 Psychic Powers
* 14 Termagaunts (Devourers)
* 15 Termagaunts (Devourers)

Elite
* 3 Hive Guard
* Doom of Malanthai + Spore

Fast Attack
* Harpy, TL Stranglethorn Cannon, Cluster Spines

The Harpy was actually surprisingly useful, just run him on a flank together with the Flyrant and drop large templates as he goes.

The amount of twin-linked and preferred-enemy shots in this list is just silly
