Heading to the Golden Throne GT next weekend and was looking for some feedback on the following list.
Tyrant; 2xBrainleech, Old Adversary, Shell
2x Hive Guard
2x Zoanthrope
6x Ymgarl
Tervigon; Claws, Toxins, Catalyst
Tervigon; Scytals, Toxins, Catalyst, Onslaught
16 Termagaunts; Devourers
11 Termagaunts; Fleshborers
Trygon
Biovore
Thoughts. I originally considered the flyrant, which I love, but I decided instead to go with a solid OA firebase of the Tyrant, Hive Guard, and maybe Zoans depending on power loadout. I'm still flexible on considering the Tyrant though, really torn. Tyrant will form core flanked by Tervigons, Zoans and HG in front, gaunts in front of that; Standard Onion approach. Trygon can pick one flank to approach down depending on threats. Biovore hides behind LOS blocking to avoid first blood and bombards troop blocks.
Ymgarls are for backfield disruption, which I may light on for this list. Their main job will be to take out the rune priest or Farseer ally.
For powers, Standard biomancy on most of the TMCs, but Zoans will flex between Telekenesis and Telepathy depending on enemy army list. 11 psychic powers.
Additional concerns. I'm wondering if I have enough "ooomph". From the games I've played of 6th, the buffed tryant and tervifexen can dish out some serious hurt to infantry and vehicles, but I don't know if its enough or dedicated hard infantry. Lastly, I am a bit dice dependant if both my tervigons poop out on first spawning.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
