how do i deploy these before the game? and how much do they cost me?

i can only seem to find the rules if a biovore shoots them; then it says or you can launch them before the game.

Quick note. We need to remeber that they are placed after fortifications are placed. Might be worth it to takes someand put it befind their aegis line.

page 93 was what i was looking for, i mustve read through that section 100 times and just kept missing them.

Wasn't there something in the FAQ about them being deploy after objectives but before armies deploy?

This was so you can place them around an objective and deny the opponent deploying there ( not really relevant now as you do not have to be a certain distance away anymore)

You never did (well the 1" rule for all enemy units unless you were in cc, and dawn of war which explicitly stated how it worked)

Denying infiltration zones is something cordump said once. You can deploy them in a place where you want to infiltrate and/or you don't want your opponent to.

Since we are on spore mines, can I just check something?

On page 48 it says that spore mines move as individuals and if they touch a friendly model then they are removed from play.

If you deep strike a cluster will the first mines to move have a 50% chance to kill themselves as they drift back into the group?
