6th ed FAQ out next month

Had to go to the Battle Bunker to bow out of the tourny tomarrow, but the managersaid that the FAQ should be out for 6th next month. He has seen some of it and here are some Tyranid rules that are supposed to be in it:

HoW does not get any biomorphs applied.
Psykers with BS0 can use powers that autohit.
He doesn't know about the flyers being hit by beams or mawlocks though.

It's all well and good if Blord can use auto hits, as long as they also clarify if beams count as autohitting, or just hitting models under the beam after you hit your target point.

Otherwise the arguments will continue.

Hopefully it will address the BL being able to re-roll if he does get a psychic power that needs a roll to hit.

I would assume it's just the main rulebook FAQ, since that's the same progression that happened with the 8th edition WHFB release; armybook/codex FAQs released right away to make the book compatible with the new edition, then the full rulebook FAQ shortly afterwards to answer questions.

I believe the armybook FAQs were updated subsequent to that, so that will probably happen with 40K as well (although probably not at the same time as the rulebook FAQ's release).

Core rulebook. Apparently they always knew it was going to be released in August. They wanted to collect the questions from store managers and customer service and use those to make the FAQ.
