What's a very short summary of what the new rules mean to the swarm or if you can direct me somewhere as the threads seem really specific so far on the front page.
Here are some points, in no particular order:
1) Some armies can take allies from some other armies, but we can't.
2) There will be some changes to how people use vehicles in their army lists.
3) We have a lot of units which can exchange their psychic powers for the psychic powers in the rulebook.
4) You are allowed to bring a little bit of your own terrain to games.
5) There are more missions in the main rulebook.
6) There's no penalty for losing close combat if you have Synapse.
7) There are some aircraft in the game now, but we don't have as many good ways to destroy them as some other armies.
8) You have to roll a charge distance to get into close combat now. You can't run and charge in the same turn, but Fleet helps with both.
9) Wounds are typically taken by the closest model, so wound allocation tricks don't look like they will be as prevalent as they used to be.
10) Cover saves are generally worse, but they are easier to get on vehicles and Monstrous Creatures.
11) There are changes to movement for Beasts and flying Monstrous Creatures, making them faster.
It looks like the 6th Edition threads go back to page 9 or so on this board, so you can look at those. You'll need to get a copy of the rulebook to really make sense of it all.
