Interesting minis from other places

Just thought I'd throw this up here- somewhat off-topic as its not linked to GW minis, but I thought it would be great to have a little archive of different model companies that still produce good quality minis. There are quite a few out there and whilst they don't all produce their own rules systems, many have minis that might be suitable as hero's or similar in our regular armies (be they warhammer ones or not). Some of these names do pass around in common chatter, but I think it would be great to list them out for newer people getting into table top modelling.

So thought I'd start off this list with a few:

troll-outpost.de - german based, but a good few ebay traders selling the minis already

www.reapermini.com/ - massive collection of minis here, a really wide variety of choices, especially for fantasy.

www.armorcast.com/ - make a wide selection of details, scenic bases, gun/steam details (a great one for Warjacks from Warmachine) etc...

www.ragingheroes.com/ - a fair few are indeed named/based on GW minis and providing an alternative - still looks like quality produce and many are offered in various scale sizes depending how big you want.

www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/ - I've not got any of these, but they make a very wide selection in various scales - however whoever they are singularly bad with photographs on their site (I've seen one or two external photos that show their models in much better light)

And a few solid other games companies:

I'm glad to see MythiCast isen't on the list, haha. ArmorCast has some interesting alien spores, but other than that it really is only PP that is worth looking into, in my humble opinion.

I like the Praying Mantis from Raging Heroes. Could make good daemonettes of wytches The Blood Vestals look really cool too, although I've never painted nipples before.... thats a painting tutorial that may get some 'interesting' finds on google xD "How to paint miniature nipples"

Ok I will bump this a lil, but has anyone ordered anything from Raging Heroes? If so how was it?

I wish I collected some demonic army to have an excuse to get some of the models from them - they've some good designs indeed! That said I've not bought any from them (At the moment Hordes is draining my cash)

I would personaly argue against it... I would like to issue a warning about them. Ok it may just be me but I placed a order with them on the 11th last month, it has still not arrived. When asking them about it I get ONE reply after 3 mails, saying they will look into it and return to me. They havent done that yet. So they sure do seem quite meh.

It's a manga anime inspired sci-fi game. My favorite part of the minis are the transparent discs they use for the computer displays.

Koyori - somewhat worrying indeed - however I do notice that they trade out to the independant shops, Firestorm Games stock them (Wayland games might also but -- bleh their list of games is a mess and I can't see it but I might be missing it).

Hopefully you'll get the models soon enough to get a look at them .

Finaly I have gotten a reply from them saying my models are being shipped, hopefuly they arrive soon (frome france to sweden should not take THAT long).

Ok I've got to add this, one of the "exclusive" minis here from Cool-Mini-Or-Not (I didn't even know they had a shop!)

They have a range and some are limited release as well, but from their own model line stock you can see some great minis like the one above, which I think has to rate as about the best griffen I've ever seen in a model
