You really first should practice with a friend's army or an army at a GW, and ask for advice there, before you can figure out what army works best for you. Usually Marines are a good starter army, whilst stuff like Eldar, Dark Eldar and maybe Imperial Guard are more for people who already have an army (they take time getting used to). Also, yeah, don't post the same thread twice. It's kinda like spamming...

If you go into a GW store (and I strongly recommend that you do) and ask to play an introduction game and have an idea of what army you want to play as they will certainly arrange a match against you to introduce you to the game and to the army as well. Considering your position I recon that this is the best course of action for you - we cannot tell you why to get an army - its way to subjective

?? closest to the is the old genestealer cults backstory - where they infest target worlds and take over the population in part in awaiting a hive ship. Aside from that the only generation in game of new units is the sport mine. that is a floating mine that moves about hte battle field - you can deepstrike them in from off board or have tham shot from a boivore

It is definitely spamming.
Don't post the same question in multiple threads. Don't start the same thread in multiple forums.
