Now that Null Deployment is 'dead', what should we call the new reserve build? Min Deployment?
Currently I'm deploying Flyrant and/or Genestealers. But if this turns out to be too easy to shoot out before the rest comes on (and thus I lose the game), I will have to make changes. While it would pain me to drop the Devilgants, I feel that my troop choices are the weakes part of the list, and that's were I would make the changes. Here's what I'm thinking of
Hive Tyrant – Hive Commander, Old Adversary, Wings, 2x Twin-linked Devourer
2 Zoanthropes with Spore

Tervigon - Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs, Cluster Spines, Catalyst, Onslaught

2000 points on the button, neat and symmetrical, love it. A bit weaker shooty alpha strike but stronger troop section with loads more staying power, really important in 6th ed objective heavy missions.
Unfortunately, the tournament I'm planning for is 1999 points and no +1. So I need to drop a single point, annoyingly enough when everything is down to the bare bones. One option is to drop OA, another to drop Onslaught and just keep Catalyst and play safe. Staying with the theme of the list, in the end I think I'll keep OA for the critical mass of focused shooting I need to bring, and destroy the symmetry instead. So one Tervigon will lose the third power and stay with Catalyst, the other will keep three powers and go for Biomancy. Both gets Scything Talons to bring the list to 1995 points -

One nice thing is that I can always reserve my Warlord if I need to, without worrying much about losing in turn 1-2.
